The rules are basically the same as the PP hunt. Its hidden on public property in Ramsey County, search don't destroy, and don't go anywhere you obviously shouldn't be. Use good sportsman ship!
You are looking for a medallion aprox. 1 3/4" in size (NO METAL)

BRB - A good beginner course would be the 12 hole Highland course on Montreal. But it would be nice for you to hook up with someone who's played before (us) to help you with a few pointers to start you in the right direction. Like I've said before (and I'm sure the other players would agree) once you've played 2 full games, you're hooked. Because the main thing your trying to beat is not who your with as much as it's against yourself. My brother and I will be heading out to North Valley (IGH) at 4 today. Let me know if anyone wants to enjoy this nice day we have going on. Tomorrow sounds to be a bit wet.

Betcha he did! Nice hiding spot Ian. Boy, what a trek though. During my game, my niece and I went up and down those hills a few times with no luck. We decided to cut our game short and totally dedicate our time to finding this thing. After some scaffolding and some bungie cords, we found it! And it was just up from hole #7 tee the whole time! Damn! Lotsa stuff in there. We didn't take or leave anything as I had my stuff still in my disc golf bag at the top of the hill where we started. I plan on leaving something next time we play though. My bro (who was watching the other kids while we were out looking) wants to see where we found it too. My daughter and I also found your other cache in South Valley. Pretty fun stuff. I lost my shades while looking for this one. We all went back after dark and let the kids find the cache with the flashlight while I looked for my shades. The kids found what they were looking for but not me. We'll probably go back later today and wonder around again looking for them as it is a pretty nice walk in a nice park. We saw 3 deer the first time through too!
Unfortunately, wearing shorts and short sleeves isn't the best idea when looking for some Geo-caches.

all i gotta say is cm, you bring your camera and your gps with you everywhere you go. do you wear a jacket all summer? between that and your "bump" stash, you gotta have someplace to carry it all

I had some of their Hot BBQ last Wednesday night, and it seems my taste buds still haven't recovered.
Wow, it's starting to seem like it's been so long without a hunt now after that big flurry. And it's still going to be almost two weeks until this one. Well we know two things already. It's not under snow, and it's somewhere that it could sit undisturbed for months. We can probably also safely assume there's no chocolate or metal involved.
