1st clue comes out at 7pm on MAY 11th!!!!
The rules are basically the same as the PP hunt. Its hidden on public property in Ramsey County, search don't destroy, and don't go anywhere you obviously shouldn't be. Use good sportsman ship!
You are looking for a medallion aprox. 1 3/4" in size (NO METAL)
The prize so far is $450.00 and a bag of Groovy M&M's.
$100--SAMS AUTO PARTS
$100--Artemis & Marley
$100--Jake ***
$50--ares ***
$20--Terry and Inks ; > ) ***
$20--LILMAN ***
$20--Clue Master
$20--TMK
$20--AW ***
A bag of Groovy M&M'S from ME2!
(*** means I have not collected) I vouch for all.
ps: The coin has been out there since Jan. 7 2003
And is HID GOOD!(I think-hehe)
GOODLUCK EVERYONE!!!
Jake, I thought you weren't hunting until the last clue. Not going to let someone else find it this time?
LOL
There was no one hunting at Crosby tonight.
Zone 3 eh? I was really thinking zone 2.
Of course they do close that gate after sundown, but I suppose you can still park outside of it.
you had your chance tonight!!!!
have sat here for 11 clues and basically twiddled my thumbs. Time to hunt!!!
So does that mean that you are twiddle dee or twiddle dumb?

Well we know that it isn't with the ammo colored geo-cache that's in the park anyway. Here's a few pix from today's hunt.

___me2 & ares try to decide which boxcar the thing is hidden in____me2, ares and Alibabas adding their names to the Cooler Crew wall

Now why would someone write something like that? ;o)

"hEY rAGGIE" - screw me toobeetoobeetoo!
Are you guys looking near the "Stairway To Heaven"
Did you find a cache, Clue Master? Which one? I'm 'caching today with Bob Shaw from the Pioneer Press, but I don't think he weants to go to Battle Creek. DAMN !
I'm gonna try to get out there for a couple hours later today, probably around noon or so. I'm gonna need this long weekend to rest my legs I think!
map
If this is near where you guys are, and I can convince him we should go there, do we want publicity for the hunt? He may not be interested at all, but should I mention it?
If he doesn't want to go there, we'll be at Cottage Grove Ravine Park, then I'll go to B.C. around 2:00
There are a couple caches I want to check out.
I have some money for the Green M&M
the green m&m will be in battle creek in that area until 3 this afternoon, ian.
me2's first ever act of "vandalism" caught on film. the force is strong in this one i think.
OK, so now I have to study the clues.
Would it be possible Marley means some of those numbers to be LAT/LON coordinates? He has a GPSr, is working on a cache near his cabin, and knows that Clue Master, Mr. MedHunter and I have GPSr s.
I keep thinking the date hidden figures into it somehow.
the cooler crew wall. if you find it, add your name to it! the sand scratches off really easily. as of last nite, cluemaster, me2, and i had our names in it, and marley's "symbol" was there :)
Off to go hunting! Hope to see some of you out there!

Yeah Ian, Alibabas and I found the BC cache late last night. It's a ways away from where we're looking for the treasure though. The cache is up on top of the hill and back a ways. Fun little cache. I need to log it yet. Looks like a bit of drizzle today ;-(
Headin' out myself in a bit too.
yup.
Nice Joe ares
thank you, sir
finally out of court! he got 6 months in totem town and back for a review in november to figure out where he will go from there, hopefully a group home or foster home.
Hopefully that'll help things out a bit LL. Good luck. Enjoy the next 6 months.
Outta and I just got back from Battle Creek. We only saw Jake and Tim there. And didn't find it. I'm staying home tonight. Good luck to all.
The Marley King medallion was found by ThoseMedallingKids around 12:00 or 12:30 at Battle Creek park. I just got back from there, and wanted to let people know not to go out and look anymore. Great hunt Marley!
AWESOME TMK!
Enjoy the next 6 months.
You bet I will!
TMK found the medallion at about noon at Battle Creek.
Thank you everyone. It has been a very interesting day today out at Battle Creek. Ares has the pictures for it.
where in the park did you find it TMK?
Park in the parking lot, go into the park, cross the bridge, to the immediate right is a lone tree there. It was near the base of the tree.
Man! I musta walked right over it last night! I was diggin' all over in there!
A lot of people walked over it or dug around it. It was hidden fairly well, somewhat sunk into the dirt. Plus it was a hockey puck, a black object hidden amongst black dirt. I just raked everything out until I saw it.
<peek>
kisses to the Kids!
for the first time ever I get to say:
I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for ThoseMedallingKids!
the happy medallion finder
6 months in totem town
I dated a boy who was sent to totemtown- 17 yrs ago
back when you were bad enough to be there but with NO fence around it and no heavy guard. geeeesh
Iv'e never seen the place before, I was actually wondering how easy it would be to run from there, if given the opportunity, he will most likely take it.
Is that the one down by Red Wing? he aint running from there!
Drove past it a couple weeks ago and WoW has it changed. I remember visiting my boyfriend and thinking how easy it would be to just walk out and now it looks like a minimum security prison for the youth. I bet there is a website. I also thought how lucky those troublemakers are to get to stay in those old historical buildings.
I'm not really sure where it's at, I thought it was here in st paul. I'll have to see if there is a web site.
Located east of St. Paul approximately 2 miles east of the intersection of Highway 61/10 and Lower Afton Road.
Wow! it's not far from battle creek!
well, I'm off to work, Happy memorial weekend to all!
that sounds more like the workhouse -
