1st clue comes out at 7pm on MAY 11th!!!!

The rules are basically the same as the PP hunt. Its hidden on public property in Ramsey County, search don't destroy, and don't go anywhere you obviously shouldn't be. Use good sportsman ship!

You are looking for a medallion aprox. 1 3/4" in size (NO METAL)

The prize so far is $450.00 and a bag of Groovy M&M's.

$100--SAMS AUTO PARTS
$100--Artemis & Marley
$100--Jake ***
$50--ares ***
$20--Terry and Inks ; > ) ***
$20--LILMAN ***
$20--Clue Master
$20--TMK
$20--AW ***
A bag of Groovy M&M'S from ME2!

(*** means I have not collected) I vouch for all.

ps: The coin has been out there since Jan. 7 2003
And is HID GOOD!(I think-hehe)

GOODLUCK EVERYONE!!!

Digger Dawg

TMK - congrats on finding the med! It was fun to see the hunt last so long, clearly it was well hidden. Is there going to be a rehash bash?

going back to lurk mode...

I don't know of any rehash bash at this point. I'm not like others. Others do something good, they go to Disneyworld to celebrate. Me, I'm going to South Dakota. There has been some talk about getting together afterwards though.

So that's why no-one was there at 2:00

I couldn't find the wall. I did find the 420 garden, on the way to the stairway.

Just came back for the clue since 1:30. Damn! Doesn't anyone know my cell #? Now I'm all wet and crabby from searching all day in the rain>
Great job TMK!! I'm glad that you found the thing. A good hunter is always the one who doesn't accept someone elses turned over leaves as being already looked at. I'm sure many of us tossed around the weeds around there but just not as dedicated enough or just not the exact spot. You deserve it. I even have a pix of Alibabas standing by that tree yesterday with the bridge in the background. Funny when I pulled it up and showed her where it was. Now every time I take a pix during a hunt she'll look around before moving on.

Actually I had a pretty good day today. I met a friend at BC at 1:30 to hunt if it wasn't too bad out. Well nobody was there and we thought what a better time to contemplate the clues. So we headed up to the old Kick Off bar by Mounds and had a few pitchers of Lienies. We sunk in $5 a piece for pull tabs and I opened one for $113.00. I put $20 back in and opened a $220.00! WooHoo! $333.00 in 5 minutes. I got a call from the wife who informed me that TMK found the thing, so it was party time. All I can hope for now is that enough of you post here so she doesn't want to slogg back to read anything. We're heading out to go camping for the weekend so there might be enough time. I usually suck at 'papercrack' but this time was different because of the hunt. I know what to do next time anyway. ;-)

You know I never meant to see you again
and I only passed by as a friend
All this time I stayed out of sight
I started wondering why

Now I, I wish it would rain down, down on me
Yes I wish it would rain, rain down on me now

You said you didn't need me in your life
I guess you were right
Well I never meant to cause you no pain
But it looks like I did it again

Now I, I wish ....

Though your hurt is gone, mines hanging on, inside
And I know it's eating me through every night and day
I'm just waiting on your sign

'Cos I know, I know I never meant to cause you no pain
And I realize I let you down
But I know in my heart of heart of hearts
I know I'm never gonna hold you again

Now I...

I didn't see you out there in the rain with us Red Bear.
we got drenched...ah, memories...
I could go off on a Barbara Streisand kick...

The Way We Were (standing in the rain)

Memories light the corner of my mind.
Misty water color memories
Of the way we were.

Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind,
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were.

Can it be that it was all so simple then,
Or has time rewritten every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again,
Tell me? would we? could we?
Memories may be beautiful and yet,
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget.
So it's the laughter
We will remember,
Whenever we remember
The way we were;
The way we were.

Yah, and I'm out in the rain with a PP reporter and a PP photographer, for a story that DID NOT run yesterday. When I finally got to B C, totally soaked, the party was over. Congrats to the future bridegroom ...

Yeah, that sucks Ian. I was looking for that story. Do they plan on running it at a later date?

Tue, 05/27/2003 - 7:56 AM Permalink
King Boreas aka Ian

The editors delayed the story, because there was so much other news going on, apparently. The story's fine, photos are fine, and it will wait until there is a suitable day for it, i.e., when there aren't a lot of other stories going on.

Marley has been completely busy with managing a bar up in the Mille Lacs area. I'm going to meet him and perhaps get the clue explanations if he has them. If not, he said he would try and post them later from his slow lap top. Also, look for this coming Wednesday for a rehash gathering or something of that nature at a place to be determined.

If people are feeling brave enough to venture into downtown Minneapolis, Brit's Pub will be having their "Pub Quiz Night" that night. It's a 6 round competition with teams up to 5 people. You play from your table by answering the questions on an answer sheet. There are 4 rounds of general trivia, one round of picture identification, and one round of music identification. It costs $10 a team but there are prizes you can win. It's a lot of fun. That's what I'll be doing anyway with my singles club next Wednesday.

It's looking like my plans for tonight are going to fall through though if anyone is looking for something to do.

A Gemini eh? You know Gemini and Sagittarius are opposites. Both are always moving and changing. The hard part is trying to go in the same direction since neither partner is prone to acting as an anchor.

How do Gemini and Leo line up?

Fri, 05/30/2003 - 10:50 PM Permalink
Allison Wonderland

Pretty well actually. Leo is a fire sign and Gemini is an air sign and fire and air usually go together as long as they're not opposites. Leo's like to be in charge which is usually ok with the Gemini as long as the Leo has somewhere interesting to take them.

18 years old!! Good to hear Tim! There's quite a few other things that you can do once you turn 18 as well. Most of them aren't along the lines of being able to turn in a little coin though. Welcome to adulthood.

everyone chant in klingon now...."today, i am a man".

in 3 years, tim, i'll let you get that two-fisted clue-noodling pose you wanted at mcg's at the pre-dig :) which means 4 pre-digs from now.

Yeah, I am already addicted to losing at blackjack. Well, playing blackjack and naturally I lost. I don't smoke, but I made that decision a long time ago not on my 18th birthday. I'm not goign to mention anything else. Oh, I get to sign up for the selective service, woooooo. I hear Canada has a kick ass health care system and virtually no violent crime...
