It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Goddess Winter
learning at the library, the ordway is a fame name the civic center (or whatever) is sports and new and they destroyed the old one
Ok i say that tonights clue is gonna give the location away but in no matter will it give perimiteres. I still think its near devils den in Newell park.
Why is it every year someone always thinks it's so funny to give false alarms about the medallion being found? That joke is just so old and stupid. Nobody here is
going to believe it unless it is actualy posted or announced
I love this guessing stuff. But nothing beats standing in line , having a couple beers and acting like I know everything, just like everyone else. I think I might start
1995 - #7 Consider a place to learn as you try to discern the location of your quary And if you need guidance on where to turn Just keep your search elementary
Close, but a lot of clues from year to year can be similar!
Does anyone know a good site that lists all the clues and locations from previoius years?
Goddess- I'm pretty stuck on Battle Creek, I'll list a few reasons, though I've been through this a hundred times it seems. 1- BC is boxed in by hwy 5, 94 and 494
2- "Shout" -Battle Cry 3- Medalion there in 95, which is 4 years ago- and it would be somewhat within the logic of breaking a tradition to hide it there again so
soon. 4- popular outdoor attraction= mountian bike trails and XCountry skiing trails, also which are DOWN hill 5-"chances are nil" well, nil=0, which is the shape of
a hockey rink, which is at BC 6- There's a school right there as well 7- 94 is also known as HUDSON Rd just north of BC 8- Ruth street, as in (Babe, who
"blasted" home runs) goes right by that particular part of the park, 9- As does Longfellow St (Longfellow and Ruth are both names which could be in a Tome)

I'm with you FeverBoy, BC all the way. I have yet to hear a convincing argument for any other park.
shut your mouth and know your role you piece of joe medallion wannabbe trash. he he
Doesn't Fame start at the Ordway next week
The Ordway Family used to live on Portland Avenue..By MAckubin.... That's no relevancde, but I know that cuz I was gonna buy that house...
What do you think Rocky?
Ok i say that tonights clue is gonna give the location away but in no matter will it give perimiteres. I still think its near devils den in Newell park.

I don't even have a button yet! but I'll split with someone who does when I find it!
I love this guessing stuff. But nothing beats standing in line , having a couple beers and acting like I know everything, just like everyone else. I think I might start
tonight. It's a disease!!
goddess if you find it in Newell park you split with me
If you believe it's in Newell, CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY THEY CHOSE TO MAKE IT SO DAMN EASY THIS YEAR?! No you cannot.
look @ #'s 7674 & 7683 Rocky
Thats it Rock- sockos coming out tonite!!
I don't even know where Newell park is!
Goddess, when you find it in BATTLE CREEK, you can share it with me. But you better get there soon, cause I'M gonna be findin it there this weekend!
Fireman jim of RSVL says,"The beauty of winter is the beauty itself, the innocence and purity." (Robert Frost eat your heart out!)
Goddess, Newell is just south of municipal stadium, but don't worry, it's a waste of time anyways, in my opinion
Thanks Stallion...I wasn't really going to look there anyhow
95 4= 1995 4 years ago. clue 4 says to study your history- read clue 7 from 95 - it fits with clue 5 from this year!!
Where do you think it is Stallion, and why?
fever, where do i get those old clues--i had them once and cant find 'em again!!!!
Fireman jim of RSVL says,"The beauty of winter is the beauty itself, the innocence and purity." When searching, keep it simple and enjoy the journey.
I'm pretty sure Mr Frosts heart was eating out long ago by maggots Jim
Why can't we access the clues in the old clues database for 1984 when Newell was last the location
Fever--what did clue 7 say???
rush, i cant access any!!!HELP!!!
I was able to access the clues for any 86-89 in the eighties but not 81-85

I really need to find out what the clues in 84 were! is it correct that the prize is 5g w/o a button? i know its 10g w/ one
Newell fits SO good but it's already dug up to hell....I'm lost!
If you find them let us know too
So is it Highland, Newell or Battle Creek? Famous names of fame. Longfellow, Ford, Taylor
Only 18 parks mentioned today. My 1st choice is HP but I'm listening at this point. Is there any sledding, sking, etc. at Merriam?
Another good name is Hancock--there is a Hancock Rec Center right by newell....what more important name than to "sign your John Hancock"....
No skiing or sledding at Merriam...but, Hillcrest Rec Center has sledding and athletic fields!

And the "yearning for learning"?
Drive up Snelling and you got St. Thomas, Hamline, McCallister and concordia colleges in the same area!
Step, I am looking at a map.. where is that rec center you mentioned?
HP for what Hound?
Jason--Find Newell....then look SouthEast and it's called "Hancock Rec Center"
I printed the clues for the past ten years from the home page for PP, but that was last year. I think you can do it after it's been found!
Step, I just see Hamline Park.. or is that too far?
Hey Godess, can maggots sniff out medallions?
Highland Park... On South Snelling...
MOMMY, the link that says that you can pull them up is unable to be found--HOW FING CONVENIENT!!!!!
Is everyone aware of this sight... http://www.coolercrew.com/medallion.html Good resource.
Jason---Hancock is closer to Newell than Hamline Park....
Look to the west a little bit and then move your finger up the map...it should be there!
