Here is all the pertinent information on the hunt:
The TMK mock hunt will start on Wednesday, September 17, and end on Sunday, September 28.
Clues will be released at 9 pm each night.
There will be 12 clues in all.
The treasure will be hidden on public land in Ramsey County (stay out of the fairgrounds, off the indian mounds)
The treasure will not be hidden in a spot that will endanger hunters (along a cliff, under an electrical box, on the water of a lake/river, etc)
If there are questions or concerns, please try reaching me by email or egram. I will have my cell phone with me, but while I am at work it will be off. I will check messages during breaks though.
Prize will be announced. Donations are welcome.
Oh, I've had people try to trick me into giving out information. Tonight I was with Ares and Treasure Chest helping with some cabinets. They took some pictures of me that are going to make you laugh, trust me. They may think they can blackmail me with them, but it won't work!

I have a simpler way of solving clues and finding treasure.

ersatz isn't really used in common conversation, I want to think it was a word TMK looked up to fit some word puzzle made into the clue.
You could probably say something like, "He drank his coffee with an ersatz cream substitute."

I don't know that it will go to the last clue. I have a feeling it won't, unless I change things up a bit. 10th or 11th clue I'm thinking.

When u add the 'eye' to water u get waiter. If I aint mistaken here, the would be a butler. and with all those 'yell" and "well" makes me think Newell is the place. Pierce Butler Route...... I gotta do some reassmebling of my thoughts here.

I'm looking through the Guide and if the water below actually refers to a body of water, the only parks that seem to have that and tennis courts are Phalen, Indian Mounds, and maybe Highland.

so did everyone come up with something different for the golf balls clue? cuz that's the one that keeps me looking at phalen and highland, none of the other parks have any golf around them.

The other day when I was out looking around at Newell, I noticed a house across the street from the parking lot that had a sign in the yard that said-NO TO WARS. I wonder if this would qualify as a "caring home". hmmmm

well usually if I forget to post an idea it comes to bite me in the butt later- I remembered this thought---the see and heard clue remindind me of 2 things- maybe a library cause you don't speak and only look and then those monkeys - no see no hear no speak that Ares had on his computer in his bedroom :)
But then of course, not everyone would know about those monkeys on the computer ares had on his computer in his bedroom. ;)

I asked my daughter just yesterday about golfball companies (since she likes to golf) and she didn't know- I forgot to persue it when I got home- thanks for thinking the same thing :)
