Here is all the pertinent information on the hunt:
The TMK mock hunt will start on Wednesday, September 17, and end on Sunday, September 28.
Clues will be released at 9 pm each night.
There will be 12 clues in all.
The treasure will be hidden on public land in Ramsey County (stay out of the fairgrounds, off the indian mounds)
The treasure will not be hidden in a spot that will endanger hunters (along a cliff, under an electrical box, on the water of a lake/river, etc)
If there are questions or concerns, please try reaching me by email or egram. I will have my cell phone with me, but while I am at work it will be off. I will check messages during breaks though.
Prize will be announced. Donations are welcome.

first off, chesty, i display my monkeys proudly. :)
second off, i have the entire upstairs of the house and there really isn't a distinction between what is bedroom and what is not, its one big open air room. me2 and her husband were checking out my new place after i moved into the brother's house, which by the way, it took 'em long enough after i moved in to come see. :)

nah. my brother and i decided that it really wouldn't be worth it. the pitch of the roof would have to be lowered to accomodate it, and in doing so would turn it into an effectively flat roof, which nate didn't want to deal with. so its just not gonna happen. :(

Hah Timmers. You don't believe me. You will see at the end how much I'm right. You guys are getting closer with one of these clues. You just can't see it. I thought it would be easier to choose, but I guess I was wrong.
The reason its a hard hunt is because he hasn't told us anything that narrows it down, not because we cant figure out these silly clues. TMK is sneaky like that.
Tim, in the clues, I've given out the park name itself. I've given things to narrow it down. I've given out little clues that if you're in the park and looking around, you'll see it and be like "That has to fit!"

me2- it sounds like we are looking for the name of their cd and not a song, but I guess it could be a two step noodle where you find their cd and then find the song name.
I'm not going to be that mean. You don't have to find a song name on a cd. You don't even know the band's name. I won't make you figure out what song.
I really didn't think that the New England band cd thing would be so hard.
J Geils Band has an album named - Monkey Island
I'm thinking there'a relatively well known cd by a well known band whose name made a good clue. Like lets say the clue was "Joshua Tree". Now if he had simply said a U2 album, it would be too easy, so he would say "an Irish Band's CD".
So I think what we're looking for here is:
Yeah, but my knowledge of well known New England Bands is poor at the best. I'll keep looking though, this does seem like the most simple clue to crack.
Also, when I did my clue refering to a song on a CD, I had a clue about what band it was in the clue when I said "you too". Maybe TMK has a hint as to which band it is somewhere in the clue.

I posted a link earlier that posted all the New England bands that you would ever need to know. I'm with AW in that it's something easy like Boston or Aerosmith.
I'm headin' out now to check on a few parks. Later
Boston seems like the most obvious answer, but none of the albums have a name that makes much sense as a clue.
