Here is all the pertinent information on the hunt:
The TMK mock hunt will start on Wednesday, September 17, and end on Sunday, September 28.
Clues will be released at 9 pm each night.
There will be 12 clues in all.
The treasure will be hidden on public land in Ramsey County (stay out of the fairgrounds, off the indian mounds)
The treasure will not be hidden in a spot that will endanger hunters (along a cliff, under an electrical box, on the water of a lake/river, etc)
If there are questions or concerns, please try reaching me by email or egram. I will have my cell phone with me, but while I am at work it will be off. I will check messages during breaks though.
Prize will be announced. Donations are welcome.

All these clues and you still haven't settled on a park.
During 1838 to 1839, under Andrew Jackson's Indian removal policy, Cherokee indians were forced to leave all the land east of Mississippi River. They were migrated to a area in present day Oklahoma. Cherokee people called this the "Trail of Tears" because their people saw hunger, disease, and faced exhaustion in a forced march. (4,000 of 15,000 of the Cherokees died)

I'm not trying to make you guys feel bad. I told you guys I was going to make it hard. I think after the hunt is done, you guys will be looking at things a bit differently. Not take some things for granted. Hopefully be better hunters. I know how we are as hunters. I've kind of used that against you all.
I don't feel bad. It feels good to noodle some. I've missed out on many of these hunts because life kept getting in the way.
On the other hand, we're on vacation starting Friday after work and won't be here for the end - unless someone gets lucky and smarter before then.
I think I'm noodled out. Time to put the noodler to bed.
