that could have been her shot at FAME!
Damn... I would have given anything (maybe not ANYTHING) to be on B&B....
Back in the day, when me and Shaggs first hooked up, me and him and his brother and a few other ninjas had a "mexican street gang" called The Beavis Crew....hahaha... lmao...
I was "Garcia Sanchez" Shaggs was "Tito Espinoza" his brother was "Pablo Espinoza" and their cousin was "Hernando Fernando Hernandez"... lol.... damn..
We made all them names up too.... no lie... just for fun... we used to do all kindsa crazy stuff like that.
VJ-was that on the East side or the West side?
man.... that was here on the East Side
Marley: but I am here from 8 or 10 am till about 2 or 3 am!
::cough:: bullshit sometimes yes, usually no. lol
Me2~ I have a box of old newspapers and such for you next time I see ya.
hmmm ok I will rememeber that.
The colors peaked during the week. Between the wind yesterday and the rainy weather today, much of what was is on the ground...but it's still beautiful. Thought I'd share a couple.
And this one with the rain drop in the middle of the lens.
Great pix TV! I tried cleaning it up as best I could. I could probably do better if you wanted to send me the full size photo. I've cleaned up the trees since I posted this photo of yours too.
It looks beautiful Terry! Is that your new landscaping in the first pic? Nice job if that's indeed what it is.
Clue Master - What software did you use to clean that up?
OT - Yup. That's the hill we had landscaped this summer. Things aren't blooming now obviously after the frost, and some of the stuff needs to grow up a bit so it fills in, but we're happy with it. It was such an eyesore before and so near the road. I think it gives the place curb appeal...and certainly better than the weedy mess it was before.
Clue Master - What software did you use to clean that up?
Photoshop 6.0
Thanks, CM! I just might have to get that software.
Beware Terry, it's spendy.
For a freeware Open Source alternative, try the GIMP.
Check it out www.gimp.org there is a port for windows.
As for me, I'm off to the parks, get some pictures of what's left of the fall colors.
I'm taking note of that site. I've checked out the site some. I'll do some further checking when I have time. I did notice they admit to having lots of bugs in the program. Have you noticed any? How do all those bugs affect usability?
Here's a few photos from our weekend at Nerstrand-Big Woods state park. It rained all afternoon Saturday, but it was still beautiful.

These next few are from Hidden Falls. Not the one up here, but another one at N-BW.

The water level was really low. We saw photos at the nature center that showed water rushing over the falls.

Of course, if the water wasn't so low I never would have been able to get this close.

Great Pix Frosti!
those are wonderful Frosti- I love waterfalls - they are part of my interest in MN history
and that one of -looking up into the sky through the trees with the sun shining on the trees is COOL!
TV-the ground with all the leaves that have fallen are way cool!
Click photo for map. You can see the valley in the aerial photo as well.
Moose Country is just down from the spot on Hwy 13 by 35E. You might need to refresh your screen to update the map when changing locations.
The trees have all turned now CM and are ablaze with orange and yellow!

I know OT!! I was just out there. Too bad it isn't sunny out today. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
One more.
Sure, CM. Wait until I post some photos, then come and show me up. Those are awesome!
Wow, makes me want to take a day or two off just to go out and take pictures... Might haveta stop down at Kaposia, those are way better colors than most I've seen so far.
BTW I didn't know mapquest had aerial photos.. And after I had sworn off using them for anything... welp, I've got a use for em now.
then come and show me up
Who you kiddin' Frosti. Awesome photos!! More, more.....
Thanks by the way.
Sparky on the left, me on the right. This was in our campsite.
By how clean your socks are, I'd say you just walked across the street from the Holiday Inn just off screen. ;-)
Nope, it's the other option. We hadn't been awake long enough to get 'em dirty. :p
I think I see a pizza box just to the right of those pretty white socks of his :)
Pizza box? Coulda sworn we burned those...
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing!
We've gotten back from our trip up the North Shore. Beautiful weather and surprisingly beautiful color. The golds shimmered like the finest 18K gold and the rusts and reds were breathtaking.
There must be something about the lake that keeps those trees from peaking as early as others further inland.
Of course, being back in touch with the Great Lake always is a treat and I always come away feeling more centered.
I'm attaching a picture taken from Brighton Beach of the shoreline.
TV, I think the fact that the trees close to the lake have more moisture in their roots allow them to hang on to their leaves. And by the way, nice photo!
I love all of these fall color photos! Thanks everyone! What a treat.
yes- yes-
thank you :)
I love FALL!
and that area CM you were talking about by the moose-there is a creek and a cave in there somewhere that I am gonna explore soon :)
I'm getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
