It's not far away now. I don't think anyone has found the treasure yet as I've not gotten a call. We'll see what clue #2 does.

Clue #2

There’s no need to drivel, Americans should be civil,
Even if they’ve been known in the past to get cranky.
Look up, don’t shrivel. Pick one side, don’t swivel.
And between the two, it’s best to align with the Yankee.

And the previous clue:

Clue #1

Well since the hunters all came, let's begin one more game,
You should stick to St. Paul's parks to make this hunt shorter.
And if it should be your aim to be in the gallery of fame,
You need to locate the region using a scent and a quarter.

I moved this for better access during AW's hunt.

North as opposed to south.

The Guide's website photo #25 is of Hamline/Ashland park near Ayd Mill Road. I don't think it's there - but thought about other 25 (quarter) things he might have used.)

You need to locate the region using "a scent" and a quarter.

Ascent - to climb or rise.

I hope it's at Cherokee or Como (0 % chance ?) because on Wednesday, I'll be placing a couple CCC caches.

Como (0 % chance ?)

When I asked directly if it was at Como, the answer was "no".

It is not now nor ever will be at Como.

It’s true that fall has now fell, so the weather does tell,
And you’ll see it confirmed by the many bare trees.
But if you want to excel and find where the coin doth dwell
Look for something at a fairly consistent forty-five degrees.

Good one AW! I'm a whimp cause it's cold, snowy and dark. But I'll head out tomorrow for sure. ;-)
I'm sure others figured it out cause it's so quiet in here. Plus you're right in that you knew it could be fast if it was figured out.

That's exactly what I thought. I'm headin out now with her. She'll be my guide.

45 degrees

temperature (caves are about 55 degrees all year)
degree line longitude/latitude (St Paul and the area around here is in the 40's I recall)

45 degrees of seperation?

an angle -does it make a triangle? I was never good with geometry

I think

The latitude of Minnesota is 45 degrees north

Isnt there a plaque in Roseville that shows the exact spot of the half way point to the North Pole from the equator? Its on Co Rd C I think
