Okay, this thing on the Peoplesforum is screwing up big time. I'm sure someone's going to be surprised when he finds out his icon has changed....and he'll know who did it by what the picture is of...
So, Oh, Great and Wise Clue Writer, who am I? (And how in the heck am I able to get on as you??) Although this COULD be a bit of fun too....*evil giggle*
I've decided that I'm his alter ego....that other little devil on the shoulder....want some hints about where it's hidden?
South Washington County on the north side of the river near the footing where the old 45 degree angled bridge used to be east side of the bait shop where unemployed drunkards waited to be hired to work on barges but the bait shop is now turned into Full Moon Fortunes specializing in astrological readings
(trust me....I saw him jam the little gem inside one of the fishes they sell for bait...yes, Full Moon Fortunes still sells bait....it's the only definite income the old hag has...)
I think you might mean Pine Bend Elementary. I grew up right where you are. Or at least right where AW was before anyway. I was supposed to go there but they were full so we passed it every day on the bus and went to Grove school instead where the courts now are (maybe not any more since I haven't been by Grove in a while to see) Nice area though.
Oh, and thanks for letting us know where the treasure is. I'm on my way out there now. ;-)
Did AW turn into Neo and is now in my head? How was the flick AW? I wanted to go to the big 'world wide' countdown at 8am in the morning but thought I'd wait until the crowds simmered down a bit. The critics seem to hate it though. I guess that's why they're critics huh?
I liked it. I think the reason the critics didn't like it was because it was a different movie from the first one. The first one opened you up to some new concepts, like, "What if the world we live in wasn't real?" That's easy to accomplish in a first movie. Much harder when you're trying to wrap a story up (i.e. compare "Star Wars" to "Return of the Jedi"). So the concept wasn't new. The atmosphere of the movie wasn't new. The characters weren't new. The cinemaphotography wasn't new. And it didn't leave you with that open ended sort of world at the conclusion where it seemed like it could go anywhere. If you're expecting to feel the same way after this movie that you felt after the first one, yes, you will be disappointed. It's a different movie. This one is basically an action movie. And on that front, it has some great action. It's a fun movie and worth seeing. It's just not going to make you think the same way the first one did.
I did post the clue today right? I didn't see anyone talking about it.
I see now. Since someone logged in as me, it marked all those messages as "read".
It turns out I'm going to be gone most of this weekend, so I hope someone finds it soon! I didn't think these clues would be that hard. Of course in some cases people are making them harder that they should have been.
oh and just so everyone knows-the Highbridge is a 4 degree grade I don't know how they figure-It doesnt look that way to me but thats what a couple books and a sign at the bridge say
Actually I was kidding. I'm more surprised that everyone seems so lost still. I thought I was giving things away. I wasn't even trying to fool people the way I have in the past.
So you think it’d be neat if I were to give you a street? And then you say finding the park would be no sweat? Well get out of your seat, and be fast on your feet, Because for street clues this is the only one you’ll get.
And the previous clues:
Clue #5
When times were tough, poor men were rough, And there wasn't a job anywhere in the land, We refused to slough. President Roosevelt took a puff, And came up with a way to lend a helping hand.
Clue #4
The quirky Aquarius you'll find all around us. While the bullish Taurus is always underfoot. The wandering Sagittarius is encircled thus, And the stinging Scorpio is nearby at the root.
Clue #3
It's true that fall has now fell, so the weather does tell, And you'll see it confirmed by the many bare trees. But if you want to excel and find where the coin doth dwell Look for something at a fairly consistent forty-five degrees.
Clue #2
There's no need to drivel, Americans should be civil, Even if they've been known in the past to get cranky. Look up, don't shrivel. Pick one side, don't swivel. And between the two, it's best to align with the Yankee.
Clue #1
Well since the hunters all came, let's begin one more game, You should stick to St. Paul's parks to make this hunt shorter. And if it should be your aim to be in the gallery of fame, You need to locate the region using a scent and a quarter.
I'll give you another hint. I don't feel bad one bit about people feeling lost because 90% of the correct answers have been posted to the board to one degree or another. It's a question of who's going to be the one to put it all together.
Well, I was hoping, especially since I was planning on being gone all weekend. Hopefully someone will figure it out tonight and maybe find it tomorrow. Otherwise I'll probably have to get someone else to post the next couple of clues.

Won't Allison be surprised! He's lost his white rabbit.
HaHa! That will be funny! wish I could actually see the expresion on his face when he logs on!
Me too!
I wish I knew when he was going to be home tonight. I'd stay up to watch. Hmmmmmm
Yeah I wanted to come, but I was out of town for it. I didn't know you were in my neighborhood however, thats cool. Whereabouts in my neighborhood?
Yeah I'll babysit Tyler. I'm on the other side of the highway on 66th in the Highlands neighborhood.
Pine Glenn grade school

I was wondering why I had to log in again. I wonder if I can find the rabbit again? Seems like there was more noodling over my identity than the clue.
I'm glad you found your white rabbit again, Allison. I bet it was a bit of a surprise.
Hey, who's messin' with my avatar?
Did AW turn into Neo and is now in my head? How was the flick AW? I wanted to go to the big 'world wide' countdown at 8am in the morning but thought I'd wait until the crowds simmered down a bit. The critics seem to hate it though. I guess that's why they're critics huh?

there is obviously too much sex going on in here if the hares are multiplying ;p
oh and just so everyone knows-the Highbridge is a 4 degree grade
I don't know how they figure-It doesnt look that way to me but thats what a couple books and a sign at the bridge say
Hmm.. for a while there I was beginning to wonder if this hunt wasn't for treasure, but illuminatti
It sounds like illuminatti is a treasure :)
What? Nobody has found it yet?
I guess not-
you looked surprised
does that mean we are onto it somehow? :)
Actually I was kidding. I'm more surprised that everyone seems so lost still. I thought I was giving things away. I wasn't even trying to fool people the way I have in the past.
So what do you think you'll get tonight?
I think it's almost time...
Clue #6

And then you say finding the park would be no sweat?

I'll give you another hint. I don't feel bad one bit about people feeling lost because 90% of the correct answers have been posted to the board to one degree or another. It's a question of who's going to be the one to put it all together.
