Thanx CM, Dad made the guitar, we are taking him to the kiss concert this month, he's only 5 but a huge fan! he can look at the guy's and name them all :)
5 years old and going to a Kiss concert? How awesome are you as a mom? I tried convincing my wife to let me take my 6 year old to see Britney and she said no way. So I suggested Slayer. I guess I should of asked her in a different order. ;-)
I wonder what would happen if you tried to hold up the Minnesota Job Bank? I was thinking at first I'd just like to make a withdrawal, but then I thought, I wonder just how much can one get away with? Maybe I could become a CEO!
Have you tried calling a head hunter with your programming expierence? ..or even try a temp agency , they may place you in a permanent postion somewhere. Thats how I found my job :) (MVS,TSO,NATRUAL,ORACLE,) to name a few. Good Luck you have to buy us all X-mas presents and time is getting short.
I had been working for a temp agency, but they only call me if they get a job they think I happen to fit. They don't tend to go out looking for jobs. It's possible they could call any time with a job, but it's not too likely on any given day.
AW-if you wanna meet up with me sometime at Caribou for a cup of coffee with an updated resume, I could slide it under my boss'door :) I can try to help you if you want. but it is gonna cost you a "secret clue" ..... :) just kidding about the clue...
Stuff right down your alley :) We are an IMS Information center. We use Natural programming here as well as Cobol and many others. Various platforms. WE have like 340 different servers. SQLDBA, TSO, IBM9690 , all Robotics , 3090, 3094-IBM We have many LAN/WAN people, a handful of Tech support people( programmers) operators, and many other structured group applications. I cant promise u anything, but I can do my best to help you out.
Whips? my butt dont like being whipped :) Anybody like Midori sours? thats what i drank at the Vikes/Pack games ---the tailgate lot was plum full by 1100 am and the game was at 0730pm. hahaha I wished the vikes would have 'whipped' the pack!!!! damn it
I mostly just know Access, though I'm sure I could learn anything else if given a reason. I'm pretty good at logical sorts of things like programming, so I can pick it up quickly and usually pretty well, but I haven't really been exposed to much besides Access and VB. But I could send you a copy of my resume. Send it where though?
I was talking to a girl at school on Tuesday about the treasure hunt turns out she is a hunter as well she has even been to this forum but only as a lurker it sure is a small world.
MV do you have season tickets to the Vikings games? Do you know Scott Nelson? He goes to the tailgates and has season tickets -end zone 10th row uppers. He is a treasure hunter as well.
AW- If you want I can meet you at Caribou for a cup of coffee and I can get that from you and bring it to our HR deptartment. I have no sinister intent here, just trying to help you out. You sound like a pretty nice guy thats all.
ME2-Yes I do have season tixs to the Vikes, I sit in the "upper rows" as well sec 222 row 22 but I do not know Scott. But it is cool knowing that though :)
Oh ya it's Friday at last. I have a two page essay to write for 20th century lit and two drawings to do for drawing class and I have to finish my catalog design and read up for the mid term test for design 2.
A large and extended transequatorial solar coronal hole is beginning to affect solar wind conditions. Periods of minor to major geomagnetic and auroral storm activity are expected to occur over the next 7 to 8 days in association with this large coronal hole. There is a fair chance periods of activity could become occasionally strong enough to be observed over wide-spread middle latitude regions. The trick will be in finding a dark-sky location during substorm activity and before the moon rises. After moonrise, sky brightness will increase and drown out much of the fainter activity. This means observations in the early evening hours after darkness falls may be the best opportunity for many observers, although this is not the optimal time for aurora visibility from middle latitudes as the auroral oval is typically located further poleward during the early evening hours. Near local midnight activity typically reaches its most equatorward position (and hence is most easily viewed from middle latitudes near this time). However, the near-full (or full waning) moon will be observed on most nights near local midnight during this disturbance.
Great pix LL. I think I've gone as Gene Simmons every year since 1977. Including this year. But that get-up rocks way better than mine.
