OK- some of you have been to my familyroom/basement...I am here at the computer and I hear this LOUD rumbling noise outside- and here it comes again! ---about 4 times now- I go look outfront...sure enough...how many days ago did it snow here? like 5 days ago? ...they are plowing my street! amazing- absolutely amazing! oh man -a 5th time through...maybe he is just going in circles hahahaha (If you know where I live you would 'get it'-around in circles? around the park) and we are paying for this in our taxes-I guess I really shouldnt complain that I am getting 'extra' treatment-5 times though-and just a little late? I slid on this hill going 3 miles an hour and almost slid into an apartment complex at the bottom the other night...I was afraid to get out of the truck and measure-I would guess about 17 inches at the most from hiting the building! and they PLOW NOW? WTH

The turkey is in the oven, the table is set, the house is cleaned, the sweet potatoes are ready for the oven, the potatoes are peeled and serving dishes are out and ready.

All this preparing and about 15 minutes after everyone sits down to eat, everyone is stuffed.

I have a News paper project for Design 2 class we have to lay out 3 section front pages. This morning I had a cooler idea and I am doing two of the pages on the Hunt with pics of the crew and every thing, I just finished one of them. one to go.

LOL! It takes longer to stuff the turkey than it does to stuff the family!

Saw EAGS (!!!!) and Mom (!!!) put in an appearance... Everbuddy's starting to gather... Yup! It's now Officially Hunt Season for moi! This is my favorite time o'year. Coming into Christmas, with The Hunt close behind. Life will not return to normal until sometime in February.

I'M SO XCITED!!! SPARKLIES!!! And Ter, just so you know - SPARKLIES beget SPARKLIES. You never run out of/burn up all the SPARKLIES!!! :D

We had a super day! The best part was when our son called from Guatemala!!!!!! He had gotten to a satellite phone and paid for 10 minutes of talk time. It was great to hear his voice!!!!!

Hope the rest of the crew had great food, lots of friends and family to help celebrate this day of giving thanks.

Next year I hope to also be celebrating finally finding that crazy medallion!

Yeah, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We hosted a pretty good holiday if I do say so myself. Lots of planning and everything but it's nice when it all goes smooth, Especially for a crowd our size.

I'm heading out to New York City this Wednesday for my first time. I've dreamt about it since I was a little kid. I feel that I know Manhattan pretty good but don't really know the things to look out for. Any tips? I'll only be gone for 3 days but I plan on doing tons of walking around Midtown by myself. Look for me during the Rockefeller Christmas Special on Wednesday at 7. :-)
