Moral Values

some suggestions: help the poor, help the elderly, help a battered wife, help a battered child, pick up trash in your neighborhood, pick up dogshit in the park, pick up whiskeypigs in sleazy bars, get a hobby, write a book, read a book, ride a bike, go for a walk, get shitfaced drunk and pass out on the living room floor, build a model airplane, sniff the glue, grow dope, sell dope, call your mother, listen to the radio, go to a movie, go to a hockey game (STARS RULE!), form a quilting bee, join a tong, start a fire, start a fundraiser, get rich, get poor, get laid, but most of all get out of the chatrooms and get a fucking life!

I obviously wasn't talking to you crabs.

So why do you have to stick your nose in it?

Try re-wording that last sentence (insult) so it's understandable.

So why do you have to stick your nose in it?

Speaking of profits, or lack there of for France, Canada, Russia, Germany....

Only Allies Need Apply

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,105350,00.html

If the report of the order is accurate, "it would be difficult for us to give further money for the reconstruction of Iraq," said Canada's deputy prime minister, John Manley. "To exclude Canadians just because they are Canadians would be unacceptable if they accept funds from Canadian taxpayers for the reconstruction of Iraq."

Steven Hogue, a spokesman for Prime Minister Jean Chretien, said Canada has contributed more than $190 million to the rebuilding effort.

Whaaaaaaaaahhhh!

"F" them. They didn't want the war, so why would they want financial gain from it? Frickin' hypocrites! They can keep their $190 million.

that's right! This was strictly a war profiteering gig...don't let those who didn't want to profit profit!

Oh yeah, we're profiting from this war.

To the extent of

($87) Billion.

::Slams head on desk::

If we were profiting, why are the Democrats so pissy about the budget for Iraq?

The point is, France, Germany, Russia... didn't want to take any of the risks in the war, yet for some reason they believe their companies should be allowed to bid to rebuild.

I give your argument an "F", but I give you a "B" for trying.

Who is going to get the money. People that put the effort into rebuilding Iraq. And it is not going to be some country that was too spineless to participate in eradicating the evil.

Uncle Shultz, Chenney's buddies at Halliburton, Worldcom...

Didn't ya know...oil is thicker than blood. Even yours.

Worry not, Dubya will win in 2004. Four more countries to bomb. YIPEEEE!

Hey, ya know it's gonna happen. So, if ya got some spare change lying around, just invest in any corporation linked to the Bush admin, you'll make money. Capitalism rocks!

who gets the money?

Whoever wins the bids.

There's no big conspiracy going on here, just every day life. Yeah, companies are going to make money, that's the way this world works.

You make money, don't ya Crabby? Or do you pay your bills with chickens and sea shells?

Anyway, logically those allowed to bid shouldn't be the dumbassmotherfuckers that were against the war in the first place. We don't want to make hypocrites out of them, do we?

except of course for those not allowed to bid.

if you want to think that is "just everyday life" and it's okay...well...that's up to you.

I really find it hard to believe that we went in to Iraq, tore it up just to make money. We have lost lives in the war. You can't put money value on that. We took a stance on doing the right thing. We went in to get Saddam out, not to make money.

It was a profit motive when we hired him to attack Iran and it's a profit motive now.

and since when is "doing the right thing" hitting someone before they hit you?

no you haven't. Not if you figure in US handing out licenses to private businesses....you keep forgetting that it's all about war profiteering.

and expand your proof to include where they got chemicalweapons from and see what you get.

don't I recall that the first reports of mass graves were of people who were gassed with chemicals? And that it was a village who was caught inbetween the Iran-Iraq war that the time? I seem to recall something like that.
