It looks like we all should be OK now. Thanks for posting TV
actually found it at the Borders in Woodbury
Thanks KC. They just got their new shipment in and I reserved all 3 copies they have. I'll reserve a few more for next week. I like that they let you do that unlike Shinders. At least they know how many to get if there's a rush for something.
Hummmmm. I looked at Borders in Woodbury Saturday too. Must have been too early. The girl was putting out magazines, but didn't know what box the comics were in.
That's odd OT. They were on the black spinning rack near the front of the store. Although I guess they did look like they hadn't been there too long. Too orderly for that I think.

Wow, I only picked up 2 copies myself. One of them going in a Christmas gift. Actually I would have gotten more, but didn't have that much cash on me. But now that I think about it, honestly I only need one copy myself. It'll be an interesting piece of hunter memorabilia to keep though.
BTW, does anyone know the best way to preserve a comic book? I only ask because it's something I wouldn't normally collect. I'm assuming a plastic sleeve would be good, but beyond that I really don't know. I'm guessing shinders or the source would have that kinda stuff. At least they're good for something.
Computer programmer Shane Messer holds up the treasure trophy, a 14K gold medalllion that he says will be awarded to the winner of his computer treasure hunt game.
Marlboro did the exact same thing earlier this year. It didn't cost anything to enter but you had to sign up at least 8 smokers who were part of your hunting team. I guess the names justified the prize. I think it was 100k. It sounds cooler if you guys want to do it as a team and toss in 10 bucks for a matrix. You know how we are. We can't loose. :-)
Get a chance to show the rest of the world what a group of crazed minnesotan treasure hunters really are? Quite the intriguing process. Any idea how long this guy expects his hunt will last?
I was in drawing class yesterday and my teacher walks up and asked the class if any one was interested in a job in the production lab printing work for students. So I run down to the lab and talk to the guy who runs it and he says you got the job. I start on Jan. 19th.
Any other people interested in joining this WMD hunt? We'll probably need to create a 'secret' thread if we do decide to go forward, unless we choose some other way to communicate.
On another note, I was wondering if anyone has any experience in negotiating a wage for a new job? I was told one wage from the person who interviewed me on the phone then it was decreased by almost 5k by the person who interviewed me in person. She said that it was lower because the person before me was under budget thus lowering the wage for my position. Anyway, is there a way of negotiating this figure without yelling out 'bait-and-switch'! Thanks
well after being away for something like a month, i've finally managed some time to get in the forum. been busy lately. working my tail off during the day. moving like crazy in the evenings into the new casa in apple valley. oh and if anyone has tried to access coolercrew.com in the last week or so, the machine hosting the site is hosed. i'll be rebuilding it as soon as it follows me to the new house.
oh very cool, esd. although, coolercrew.com is ours (and even though i'm still moving the machines...ugh....) coolercrew.com automatically redirects to coolercrew.com, so the bumper sticker should probably be www.coolercrew.com.
I can't get on at home ether but I am in school now and I got in.

Ian, I have your buttons, I'm usually there till at least 2:00 everyday if you wanna stop in :)
oops, except for tomorrow cuz I have to go to court, but if you want I can leave them at the store and whoever is working can give them to you.

Mpls & St Paul are listed as cities: http://www.findthoseweapons.com/CityList.htm
wow cool. Too bad it's 40 bucks to get the CD... then again, might be fun to play, unless you actually have to sift through a bunch of documents....

Good for you, ESD!
Clue Master, I might be interested in pooling together to do the WMD treasure hunt.
Any idea how long this guy expects his hunt will last?
I don't know, but he gives us until the 2004 presidential election.
What's cool about us versus others, is we have two cities to play around with.
Way to go ESD!!!

Hello!
Mom or I or both of us usually do them. We have a plan for this year. As usual, they should be ready for the pre-dig gig.
Congrats on the job, ESD. Comes at a good time. My job is still up in the air, and will be until January. Send those vibes this way.
