I bet you guys can't hold on that long
You'd be surprised. Most of us have had practice since we were teenagers.
I've just updated my site with some recent NYC photos.
Brd's Photo Gallery
Those are cool man! How'd you get the self portrait in front of The Ed? Set the camera on a ledge, or have a wino hold it?
How'd you get the self portrait in front of The Ed?
Thanks Frosti. I set the camera on a garbage can edge and needed to take a bunch of them to get the one you seen due to all the people walking in front of it. I have even more from on top of the Empire State Building. Unfortunately that was even harder and I finally gave up because there were just too many people wandering in front of the camera.
Damn double post! This site is way too slow lately. If your even able to get on at all. Thanks again for the link TV. You need to log in again, but at least you can navigate your way back to the neighborhood once you're in anyway.
Odd. I had to use that link through http://pfisdown.com/again this morning. There must be some issues still, but nothing new is posted there about why the usual link isn't working.
Those are great photos CM!! Thanks for sharing!
And it's acting odd. When I posted that, I got a "page can't be displayed" thing but when I used the back button, the post was here.
It's still funking up for me too.
I can't access the site through the peoplesforum.com addy, but when I use the pfisdown.com addy, everything works fine.
knock wood
same here :(
I use my old links. I've never been to the other site.
Well aren't you friggen special? :-)
I have the same probs as everyone else.
except Ian of course
I am interested in the game CM and THX- count me in when and IF you decide to get it- I will chip in-

More available here, LOTS more later
Very, Very Cooler you guys. Thanks!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
WOW- nice castle, isn't it?
I was given 4 flashlights, 3 pairs of thermal special socks and a 4 pack of winter carnival buttons for Christmas, from my husband, who right now is understanding, but will he be when I am gone for 2 weeks in January?
Cool Me2, I was just going to say the suburban target has rechargeable 1 million candlewatt flashlights on clearance, even has a built in map light, and a decent bag to carry it in. If anyone's interested they're 10 bucks, check back by the automotive section.
Check out this place:

Very cool stuff Ian!! I never heard of these guys. Some of the places they go into would scare the crap out of me. I like their disclaimer: 'this website should serve as a safe and societally acceptable means for people to experience activities of a dangerous and legally questionable nature from the comfort and safety of their homes.' I'm going to use it as my link of the week next week on my site. Thanks

Yesterday's Local Story
Hafner's is all torn down now, I think they are putting up affordable housing in it's place but not sure, there has been alot of arguing over it, some want buisnesses put back in. whoever took over hafners didn't have a clue what they were doing, thay had alot of trouble in there in the last year that it was open. I'm not surprised they didn't get caught in there, even when you do call the cops in my neighborhood, it takes them forever to get there!
'Morning!!! Are those the urban explorers? Cooler.
Howdy all.
Cambridge State Mental Hospital
YIKES!
but this is kinda what I am getting into - I am learning to become somewhat of a local speleohistorian - the underground- going into water systems, caves and tunnels of St Paul. I started earlier this fall. It is a rush!
wow, creepy stuff! would be really cool to go explore some of these places!
I never knew about it until reading the article... Now I think, "WHY didn't *I* think o'THAT?" Sounds like fun to me... I love the history aspect of it.
Me2 - whatchewbinupto? You're doing something like the Urban guys that were arrested? Hysterical related? Do tell! I'm really interested!
Nice to see you're keeping an 'eye' on us G.
Happy.....
Happy New Year Joe!!!
I took this 360 photo a couple of weeks ago when I was out in NYC and thought about how crowded it will be tonight. No thanks!

Where are these guys?
Haven't seen them in a bit.
They'll be around though.
You're doing something like the Urban guys that were arrested?
I get to meet that guy FINALLY- in 2 weeks! I can't wait!
he just wrote an article for the MN Historical Society Quarterly Magazine about the Cheese Caves under the U of M - WOW! I will see if its on the internet and post a link, but I bet that Ian character finds it before me :)
Ian, I saw that certificate -I am glad you got it-I was gonna tell you about it and then saw your bid- I got your back :)
CM- cool 360!!!! I noticed -you cut the head off the woman in the Momma Mia advertisement- just showing her breasts ;p -thats what you really wanted a pic of now wasnt it?
I have one of those certificates. My mom was knighted once. Can't remember why. She was about 90 years old at the time though.
Is the first clue out yet? Should we just start looking around Como? And where's Jake??? I'm baaaack!!!
Has this pic been used before? I'd hate to be a copy cat
Hey KT! You really think it's been hidden yet? I think we have too much melting going on for the puck to be down yet. Though who knows?!?
Hay TV- Yeah, I feel it in my bones.... It's gonna be one of those muddy ice encased hunts. Hopefully the clues are more traditional this year.. Kinda like the Conway hunt... That was a fun one.
Just so we don't find ourselves again waiting on the 11th clue and the onslaught of carlights heading towards the park only to find we were at the wrong place!
Heheh, tv- I think if all the clues point to Harriet, they should've buried it at Harriet! ...Who, by the way, have not yet paid my hubby for the raking he did last year!!!
