It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Columbus ave. runs through the park outside the Capitol (famous person, in many tomes), there is (or at least used to be) the ice slide there. There are statues there
(iconoclast?). I don't know about anything else, but there are a few ideas. I may think of some others in a little bit.
In 1967 it was hidden in the fairgrounds under 18 inches of ice, my theory is that there is some sort of tracking in the medallion, otherwise why would they tell you
that you must immediately return it to the pioneer press upon finding?? And how else would they know what is happening to it?
if the clue gives what park it is in i am goin tonight even though i have a B-Bsll game tommorow well lets chances of finding ten grand or a basketball game gee hard
DAVE, That's right! Seems there is always some confusion with that Park. Also, it is so large with so many different types of terrain and activities. You really could
And finally Clue #6, a thing of true evil. All this clue does is confirm everyone's own pet theory as they read into it what they will. There's no way you could pinpoint
any single famous man as all famous men are found in many tomes. And what are streets and parks named after? Famous men! This is a clue that can only be solved
Was at BC thurs. Saw the 4 & 5 but no 9. School is right there also. goal areas near hockey rink were all dug up as were the home plates on all the ball fields.
Richard! I'm a friend of Eagle Eye! Nice to see you here.
I've heard those theories about the capitol mall too. We were there before some years back when it was found there. It's worth a look/see. I'm hoping tonight's clue
Think I ain't the superstar? I want to bring up a point about clue 1. It mentions it's on public ground in stpaul but it doesn't say a saint paul park. This would lead me
if i have coffe i can make it through the night maybe uuhhhh (wanna sleep wanna be on the newspaper with the medallion ill find it one of these years or ill hide somtin
round in my back yard and dig it up tommorow that will make me feel better woh i am mumbling again
MESSAGE FOR CHRISTOPHER--good thinking, but with this talk about Merriam, has anyone realised that Longfellow School is in the park? Like you said, it fits
When we were at highland my husband chatted for quite awhile with an undercover cop about the hunt, he was the one who told us this is only this guy's second year
Every one stop and think about some of the places in the Parks that you believe it could be. Think liability, the City would not allow it to be hidden where it could put
one at danger, such as climbing, going down steep hills etc. Think of safe places in the Parks and that is where you will find the Tres.
Just Geri--Swede Hollow also is off of "Jessie" street: inocol. for Gov. Jesse Ventura; I've been trying to get info on that one, too. Swede would indicated Mn
Allison Wonderland - It's obviously in a park! What I mean is it could be on stpaul ground because BC is in stpaul and maplewood. it's telling you to stay on stpaul
Does anyone know, or have a theory about when the medallion is hidden. It seems like they would have to hide it before there's much snow, lest they leave
footprints. But they also wouldn't want to leave it out where someone might accidentally find it.

DAVE, That's right! Seems there is always some confusion with that Park. Also, it is so large with so many different types of terrain and activities. You really could
make any clue fit there if you tried hard enough.

Brian S, are you going to B.C tonight?
And finally Clue #6, a thing of true evil. All this clue does is confirm everyone's own pet theory as they read into it what they will. There's no way you could pinpoint
any single famous man as all famous men are found in many tomes. And what are streets and parks named after? Famous men! This is a clue that can only be solved
in retrospect.
are you sure it's a new clue guy? he seems pretty straightforward. last year's clue's too.

I've heard those theories about the capitol mall too. We were there before some years back when it was found there. It's worth a look/see. I'm hoping tonight's clue
helps get us all in the right park.
Another reason for it to be at B.C., Longfellow was an iconoclast and Longfellow AVE. is right next to B.C.
