Submitted by Casey Trauer on

It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

EVERYBODY LISTEN TO LINDSAY--I believe this person is onto something...I've had a hunch towards Swede Hollow, and this Jessie Street thing makes great

sense. Does anybody have that book about the Saint Paul street names, "the street where you live," because that may give a good hint to the origin of this street

name...

It would not be in Sweede Hallow. It is too dangerous of an area --- meaning, too secluded. Rock, I think you were right on all of your first thoughts from earlier

today. You should not give so much away. I was there tonight and it is there.

Actually I don't know enough about Battle Creek to speak with much expertise, but it sounds to me like most of the park activities are on the Maplewood side. Do

the other clues point to the St. Paul side? I shouldn't argue with you too much as I used many of the same arguments a few days in support of Phalen before I

defected to Como.

NO NO ITS NOT CLEAR IN THE OPEN. ITS SURROUNDED BY BRUSH AND TREES AND HAVE TO WALK ABOUT 100 FEET PASSED THAT

Grannie2, Sorry, those were not IDEAS. It is obvious that the people on this thing never go outside and I was just trying to help them out with the FACTS. Wells

are beneath the water towers which have one of the best sliding hills at their base. The medallion is somewhere on the athletic field accross from HIGHLAND high.

remember GRANNIE I told you this prior to clue #7 coming out tonight. ALL the pieces are there. Solving this part is easy, the hard part is being lucky enough to

dig in just the right spot. Drive by Highland on Sunday and it will look like the state fair. TONIGHT ONLY A FEW INTELLIGENT PEOPLE WILL BE IN

HIGHLAND PARK HIGH ATHLETIC FIELD with a rake or a shovel and a little luck.

WELL LOOK. ALL THE CLUES SO FAR ARE AIMED AT NEWELL. IF ITS NOT IN DEVILS DEN OR EVEN AT THE PARK AT ALL THEN

WHOEVER IS WRITING THESE DAMN CLUES SHOULDN'T BE FOOLING ALL OF US!!! THE ONLY OTHER PLACE THAT REALLY IM NOT

THINKING OF RIGHT NOW IS HP. I HIGHLY DOUBT IT BUT IT WAS THERE THE FIRST TIME THEY HID THIS DAMN THING. THE PIERCE

BUTLER THING WAS ABOUT 150 YEARS AGO SAME THING AS PP'S ANIVERSARY.

Nobody In Particular

HELLUVARACK and GRANNIE (respectively)--true, that they would be wary of hiding it in Swede Hollow~remember a while back, somebody was murdered in

that little tunnel on Beaumont leading into the park? It would be dangerous, and they know that treasure-seekers go out at night...Grannie, Swede Hollow is located

near Payne and East Seventh--go up Payne to Beaumont Street, turn right, and walk through the little tunnel thing to access it. There is also a long stairway on the

east side of the park, and that is where the park dept. sign is located. Sorry to clog up the board, but I love answering questions...

HP? think i aint the superstar?

No luck, but i was only there an hour, i figured i would wait for tonights clue to narrow down my location to dig, are you going uot there tonight brian?

And Medallion Madams, what park do you think it is at, is it B.C.?

Rock - the PP is not going to base clues on "devils den". This is a nickname - not a formal part of the park name. I think the same goes for Swede Hollow.
