I like the city location, "Rainbow" and HA-HA ideas for clues BUT I don't think anyone would put it there either.
I like the idea of changing parks, but with so many people entering the pool, it makes it a little bit more difficult considering the number of un-taken parks is lower. Good luck everyone!

You don't have to pick the park before the hunt. In reality, that wasn't even how it was supposed to work. So that won't happen. If it's in a weird park, someone will figure it out eventually and pick that park and whoever picks it first without changing it would win.
If something happens like last year, where everyone was in the dark until that one clue, and the park isn't taken, will it be a race to this forum, or a race to the park?

Is the old phalen shopping center now a park?? It has the manmade Lake Ames there and I noticed the other day everything is torn down there now. Just curious. I'm sure the city would like to promote the new Phalen Blvd thing

BTW I always thought it'd be cool if they hid the medallion on a parkway, probably not practical thinkin, but it is public land and would make for a lot of false lead clues.
phalen boulevard? nope. it starts down in the area of 35e and mississippi street, where pennsylvania avenue used to end. it goes up along the union pacific railroad tracks under edgerton street, and payne avenue (where it currently ends), near the north end of swede hollow. it eventually will end up in the area of phalen center.
Oh so that park area is just phalen boulevard?
Must connect to Johnson Parkway though, unless my memory is really fuzzy around that area (definately need to spend some time around there to get a feel for it)

I think it will be hidden somewhere down by Shepard road across the river from the Ice palace but not in Harriet. Theres a park down there but I dont know the name of it. The Delta Queen parks there in the summer months :) im back ....lol...and to start off with a Joe.
