I work at West and am interested in finding out why you gals think Lexis is better. If there's anything I can help you with please let me know.

Just for the record Lexis puts anything and everything online therefore boosting their overall search result numbers. West combines the documents for a particular case into 1 document, therefore decreasing the amount of docs you have to sludge through.

Again, let me know if there is anything I can do from an "insiders" advantage.

    'mom'

Hiyall - I'm stuck at home today with daughter #2 under the weather. Can't believe how windy it's gotten - it's trash day in our neighborhood, and there are empty trash bins blown over on their sides all up and down the block.

I'm trying to be productive, but having a day at home thrown at you isn't like one you plan for....I've been in about a million directions, from laundry to reorganizing closets to redoing the silicone weatherstripping on the windows.

Suppose I'd best catch my trash bin before it winds up in someone else's yard!

    Clue Master

Hope the kid feels better Mom.

RJ - I haven't seen your latest vid yet. Why don't you bring a copy to the PDG for the family to see? Are you ready to rock and roll? I need to stock up on the 'refreshments' soon. I have my standard backup in my trunk already but need to resupply that back end before even puttin' a shovel or rake on the ground.

OH, I hate it when the kids are sick. At least if they're sick now, they'll probably be better by Saturday!

So off and on this evening, every once in awhile, I'd hear seagulls, waves and a fog horn thing. I thought Inks was playing some of the sound bites from the shipping news thing out of Duluth.

Turns out to be a replacement for the weatherbug chirp! There's a wind chill advisory! LOL!!

Question for anyone who would know...

How much $$$ would it take to have those printed at Kinko's? Probably lots more than I can contribute alone - but I thought I'd ask.

    Thu, 01/22/2004 - 5:05 PM Permalink
    Scribe

    I'd be willing to contribute.

    There's 3 PD's this month... I couldn't put in A LOT, but... $20? $25? I could do that.

Now... Iffin' ittiz like $10/person... PLEASE don't stick me for $20/25 bucks!

    Thu, 01/22/2004 - 5:23 PM Permalink
    Terry

Let's see if we can figure out how many could contribute and how much it would cost. No sense getting ahead of ourselves.

ESD - Could you get some idea of cost? You know what size and what is needed and all that.

    Thu, 01/22/2004 - 5:26 PM Permalink
    Liquor Lady

If it's not too much, I might be able to toss in a little, pretty broke right now and we have to save some for the PDG.

    Thu, 01/22/2004 - 5:27 PM Permalink
    Terry

I suspect the cost of color printing might be out of range, but it's worth a shot.

    Thu, 01/22/2004 - 5:29 PM Permalink
    Liquor Lady

can't it be done on a regular printer? I have a cannon that I print my pics out on, or would that take too long?

    Thu, 01/22/2004 - 5:32 PM Permalink
    Terry

It would take lots of ink...and it would take some time....but....

    ESD - whatcha think?
