1999 Pioneer Press Medallion Hunt

Submitted by Casey Trauer on

It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

What about a hedge? Does that lead you to a specific park?

this site just goes around in circles... yes there are a few parks in downtown, but I'm not saying this is the answer. I can see it in the clues, but if u look for it, u can

see it in almost any park... I think perspective is the key, and right now I'm VERY confused reading all of your entries. I have a few more ideas, but I don't wanna be

so blunt on this site so if u wanna share ideas.....e-mail me at x2ornoth@aol.com good luck to all!!!

If anyone is interested I got the clues from the last time it was in NP from the ilbrary today. I just scanned it and put it on my web server. It was in my pocket all

night, but is still kind of interesting to see how they wrote clues for NP in 1984. The site is: http://www.mrs.umn.edu/~dreyerja/MH%201.JPG Hope it helps.

I think Newell or Highland maybe. But what about today's clue? What is significant about the trees in a line? Or the hedge of trees or whatever?

ya know there is a pubic area on kellogg and robert with trees in a row.(near radisson) I know it's a long shot but, downhill.....down=downtown, and hill= james j.

Hill...the rest of the clues can also point ot this but...I guess we'll see!!!

Is 15 the majority? It doesn't seem like many people are out yet.
