I can't believe she didn't claim that JOE!
She's slipping....probably on the DEPENDS!
HAHA!
I back dibs and claim my JOE!!! at #300.
THANKS, LL!!!
And I'm NOT slipping on my Depends!!!
Hey Green! I was in a meeting today and found another button fanatic. She loves buttons too! I mentioned the elevator thighy and she understood!
elevator thighy?
I went and bought my coffee beans today, Green. I would never have found the place without your help. I wasn't even sure I was in the right place when I walked in the shop! I haven't roasted them yet. Will do that tonight. Thanks again! Do you think I can use my Osterizer to grind them? My grinder is missing it's top!
OT - What time were you around there? I work within a few blocks of there..though today I was out and about much of the day doing some home visits and a meeting out of the office.
Scribe - long story involving a bock hunt and an elevator and a stranger.
I got to push the buttons!!
Inks and Green were laughing their collective arses off and the stranger...well he was strange.
Sounds like a good pre-dig gig story!
I was there around 1:20 I'd say. I saw something really cool on my way there. I was driving down University just after Dale, and all of a sudden a young Hmong man stepped off the curb holding this big flag and he stopped traffic for a parade! No kidding! There were even a couple of those dragons that several people walk under! Isn't that neat? I just sat there and smiled. Some motorists weren't as indulgent. lol
I love that stuff too, OT. There are many SE Asian businesses now along University. I don't know why people get bent out of shape.
I was at a meeting then though.
I wonder what they were celebrating? Looked like school aged children. I thought of you when I was out that way. I know you live in Frog Town. Have you eaten at Andy's Garage yet? I almost stopped today, but was in a hurry.
We've gotten take out from there once in awhile for lunches.
I work just east of Snelling and Thomas. Thomas is like 4 blocks north of University.
Regarding Andy's Garage - they do have gooooood food.
Yes, I know where Thomas is. And I agree. I've only eaten there once, but it was very good! Kind of a diamond in the rough.
Chinese new year?
That might be, Tim. The Hmong don't necessarily celebrate Chinese New Year - but there are some Hmong that are more directly descendents of the Chinese. I don't pretend to fully understand all that, but the Hmong woman I work with was explaining that the other day. Her family is directly related to the Chinese...while other Hmong clans aren't.
Hummm. I don't know. I just assumed they were Hmong I guess
I didn't read that they were Hmong, my mistake.
And most likely were. Frogtown and the majority of those businesses along University are Hmong owned and operated.
I had a fantastic drive today. First I saw that, which made me smile all the way to the Ethiopian place. Then on my way home I came through town and as I came over the hill past the Cathedral, voila! There was the Ice Palace! I wasn't sure where it was, and it just sprung up in front of me. I have to get out more!
Ter... Well, what can I say? Your co-worker's really challenged - OR REALLY STUBBORN... Like You!!!
Scribey... Ter's like my Mom/one o'my dearest friends... BUT... She's got this stubborn streak. LOL!!! And DOES NOT take kindly to drunks telling her she can't read!!! The more the Two Drunks spoke the truth, the more stubborn she bacame! The harder the Two Drunks laughed - the sputterier she became!!! As the Two Drunks LITERALLY (no xageration!) melted onto the floor o'the e-leave-e-ator in hysterical laughter... The MADDER Ter became. And the more The Poor Stranger crouched in the farthest corner o'the e-leave-e-ator!
NEVER give Ter a choice between READING SIGNS and punching buttons! She'll end you up in No-Man's-Land EVERY TIME!!!!!!
Old Timer (gods, but I hate that name. Ittiz so disrespectful... I like "Well Blessed One" much better...) I'm SO GLAD you found your beans!!!!! And sounds like you had An Adventure at the same time! I just love Adventures! They're so fun!
Not mad...determined.
Determined to take us to The Moon? LOL!!!
And you were MAD! You drove outta that prking lot like the Devil himself was after you... And then muttered the entire way down the hall o'the hotel as Inks and I toddled after you - barely able to catch our breath we were laughing so hard!!!!
One of the greatest, funniest, most wonderful times I've had. If you'd had a 2 X 4, Inks and I would have been hamburger!!!!
Serves you right for dis'en me about that Cow/Bock...
ROFLOLPMP!!!!!!!!!!!
Cool beans ;)
Happy Tet, Seol and Chinese New Year. The Vietnamese, Koreans and Chinese all celebrate the year of the monkey today
Thanks for the info! And to think I was a part of it.
test
Hi Green and Terry V, you guys are great. Green I only fill in for vacation times now at the HAZ, But still work just down the street.
I sure hope this is our year!!
Done with diapers for now -Thank God, and not ready for depends yet. Although they could of come in handy a few times diggin in parks with the bathrooms closed for the winter!!
D'oh! It's Year of the Monkey today, but I've been writing Year of the Dog on my checks!
you've been writing the year of the dog? I've still been writing the year of the dragon on mine....
Although, every year, is the year of the clown.
As of about 11 PM tomarrow night, its gonna become the year of the cooler! I have a big time feeling one of us is gonna find it this year, I just hope it's me!!!
If I don't find it, I hope to have at least picked the park out right, walked by it a few times, stepped on it, something anyways. Best case of a worst case scenario, I'd like to see it.
The Year of the Clownz! Hurrah!
Joe!
Good attitude KC. I'm with ya, I just hope I'm close. Anything more is just gravy.
Can someone have two different guesses if they pay the $5 for each guess?
spose, if your willing to back it up. Not my call-- AW?
Guess #1 - Hidden
Guess #2 - Falls
Guess 1: Coca
Guess 2: Mocha
by the way, after working at starbucks for 3 months, I found out that adding coca to mocha makes a really weak mocha, not como. unless como is code for a weak mocha in which case, I need to go to bed.
.
Crappy
Oass

Crappy Oass Mpark Ohahahaha . . .
That is probably the funniest thing I've read yet on the forum. I'm still laughing at that 10 minutes later!

that happens every year-it's tradition! :(
$5.00
Pick your park.
You can change your pick at any time, but whoever picked the park first wins the pot.
New Daddy changes his park to Lilydale
