I found a middle=aged idiot woman carrying an eight foot ladder before the twelfth clue.

I SAW THAT GUY TOO LOL... right before some drunk guy tried to convince me that the plump pitcher was talking about the brewry at Swedes Hollow.

I found a mom with no sense carrying her new born out in a car seat orbiting the pump house. My kids are 4 and 5 and I wasn't taking out into that madness.

anyone who takes their young kids to something like that should be fed to the racoons, much like the medallion.

I think child protective services should be out there arresting people as they show up with their kids next year... I am 100% serious.

indeed

4 dead racoons (one of them was still partially alive, and tried to eat me and Shaggs, so we had to run away)

I found a little plastc blue kids shovel about 8 inches long at about 5:30 in the morning in the pit under 1 1/2 feet of snow and sticks. About crapped my pants

I found another Winter Carnival Button on the ground at the Ice Palace tonight. Other than sticks (and I found some great ones) thats the best thing I found in the snow this year.

Scribe, I found 10 (yes 10) winter carnival buttons on the groud at the palace. None had owners, I asked. Always nice to rescue a button from annihilation by the janitorial staff at the palace.

oh, and I found the real frozen fish at the Ice Palace tonight.

I don't know why that red showed up though, maybe the pain the workers used to line the bricks up.

Did you know thats windshield washing fluid running out of that fountain?

KC0GRN

I had heard something like that.

Funny thing was, the fire ran out of propane to do the fireball while I was there, they had a guy fill it back up. Took me 20 mins to get a shot of a fireball, in the mean time, I directed many tourists to the other side of the fountain where the fake fish in the ice block was.

We're taking the little ones out there tonight. They haven't gotten to see it with the hunt going on.

enjoy it while you can, tomorrow's the last day I hear. Good night to go though, they're having fireworks, unfortunately I have stuff going on, or I would be there to take pictures of that.

Both the fish are real, actually.... its just that one of them was placed in the ice block as a joke... the one thats chasing the puck is a joke... the other fish is on the outside wall... if you go to the right, from the exit... look at the lower part of the wall.. like 16 or 17 ice blocks down the wall...

KC0GRN

yup. that's the one I took the pic of. But I thought the joke one was cool too.

Great shots KC!! Your macro shot of the fish is way clear. I have the same shot of the 'finally' fire burst so I know what you needed to do to get that. It took me 3 times and pushing little old ladies out of the way right before it went off. ;-)

Pops found a really nice camera strap at BC - which he kept.

And a beat up flashlight at Failin' - which he did not keep. He *did* keep the green battery that was inside because it was green and he felt made a good hunt souviner.

Near the shed?!?

Not if I have anything to do with it!

We don't want no stinking flowers out by the shed!

Men care not for flowers and pretty gardens!

Here's something I found while hunting in Phalen earlier tonight. Being that it weights as much as I do, it has to be the biggest and heaviest item found out in the parks. A huge thank you to KC for helping me load the thing into my Blazer. I think I threw out my back when unloading it myself at home. A real live souvenir of the 2004 Ice Palace right on my front step for all to enjoy until August. ;-)

I would bet the big ones weight 400lbs.

They would about fill a bath tub, and a bath will hold around that much.

KITCH

oh..i didn't know they had bigger ones....see what i get for not going into the compound......

I sound like a fool...

Sun, 02/08/2004 - 8:25 PM Permalink
Clue Master

Yeah, that was about 250-300lbs I'm guessing. I'm just glad that I didn't drop it when taking it out of the back-end. The hardest part was setting it down gently so it didn't crack. I don't think I could have handled the super huge blocks.

hope the back isn't out for the count.

Nothing that plenty of 7-7's won't take care of.
Thanks for your concern. The neighbors are going to think that I'm trying to start my own Ice Palace because I already added a handful of 5 foot upside down icicles on the snow mounds around the yard. There's even one that is extremely phallic. ;-)

There's a tag line for Mikey huh me2? Phrozen Phallic in Phalen

P.S. - I seen that brick too. Glad someone grabbed it.
