What would you ask God?

Submitted by THX 1138 on

Some of us talk to God. It may be in the car as we drive to work, before we eat dinner, some even say "good morning" to God as they get up in the morning. Those sound positive where as sometimes people ask questions in a negative way when they can't believe God 'let' bad things happen in our lives. People don't usually think they get a reply. ;) and then there is a very small percentage who don't believe God exists at all. But wether you believe or not, what would you want to say?

I find myself blessed everyday which is actually funny cause I always have something to complain about.

If you had a chance to ask God anything and actually get a reply to your question or even hold a conversation where He talks back to you... what would you ask him?

Not everyone can acknowledge this. They think that one is better than the other, or one is more right than the other.

Tess: your response: For starters, mellow out.

Jethro: Sorry, I don't do that. Ask anyone here.

THX: It's true, he doesn't.

THX: It's true, he doesn't.

Sad, it makes it tough to debate with such excitable people.

But still, I must ask this question of him. JBo, you mention my meeting him on judgement day - what will you think if it turns out there is no such thing? Are you willing to entertain that thought?

In fact, are you willing to entertain any of the beliefs held by religions other than your own? As ridiculous as some of them may be to us, their flocks feel just as strongly as you about their faith.

It doesn't matter to me if you pray to flypaper or believe Frosted Flakes have healing power, that's your thing. But don't expect everyone else to live by those beliefs. And even if there if was tangible evidence of what you believe in, which I have yet to see, it doesn't mean I have to see it the same way.

Knock yourself out getting excited, if you must.

I admire your strong belief and your willingness to defend it. I don't admire the way you go about it.

They think that one is better than the other, or one is more right than the other.

Maybe it is only the lack of perception that leads you to this conclusion.
