P.S. Mikey? The raincheck will just make Valentine's Day last longer! You'll be able to do it all over again in two weeks or so... And... With some planning...

OOOO-LA-LA!!! You go, you stud muffin! :D

only a peck, no tounge. Not with my mouth all gunked up with my surgery thing!
She did get flowers and stuff though and I will take a raincheck on the night out! I get good kisses all the time!

We've got The Chickadee... And I'm too effin' pooped to cook. (Still doing stuff, but not as quick as I was earlier...) So, I think we're gonna do Pappa Smurphy's. That'll make Pops and The Chickadee happy.

I'd rather have a med-rare porterhouse and mealy, HOT potatoe with butter AND sour cream... Actually, a whole cow sounds good right about now... I've not had anything to eat - but for bananas and a wee bit o'mac and jeez [KRAFT] - in like four days.

Yeah... I'd kill for a steak right now...

I had Papa Murphy's for the first time last night and thought it was very good. And very cheap! They're having a deal on large pizza. $5!

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 3:46 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

in my humble opinion

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 3:49 PM Permalink

Well, you can't beat the price of Papa Murphy's. And it really was pretty tasty! Also not a greasy as some.

a little more clogging of the arteries for the buck!

I've been sloggging through tons and tons of music sites looking to replace some of that which was taken - and finding tons more I'd like. My wish list is miles long I think.

Green - I too would prefer a good steak, but pizza is okay too. I'll have to wait and see what's on the special for tonight at the Red Oak to decide what I'll be dining on.

Mikey, I'm witchew. The greasier, the better... Savoy's is greasy? That the place on the corner o' West 7th, by the hiway, and going towards Mounds? On the south side?

Never been there. Heard their "Eye-talian" is really good.

G'Oldie... The $5 thighy... Is that the low carb special? Screw low carbs. Carbs izz what I xist on. That and protien. (I'm SO HORRIBLE and rotten about fruits and veggies. But when I do do veggies, they're always fresh. Never the canned crap for moi.)

We like Papa Smurphy's. Ittiz tastey and they fix it and I cook it and ittiz hot outta the oven. I'm REALLY PICKY about pizza, don't like many, and had just discovered the joys o'Papa John's when it left Quite H20! But Papa Smurphy's has come to town and thass a good thang. Still, I doubt if I'll eat much of it. Ittiz not greasey enuff for me!!! LOL!!! I grew up with Imo's Pizza in the St. Louis area... And I've never had pizza that good since. The grease POOLS on it!!!!! The cheeze just oozes... Best pizza I've ever had in my life. (sigh)

Oh, Ter. To have someone wait on me... I'm so tired and sore. But, did too much during The Hunt. I can't afford anything other than pizza right now. And, actually, I should be cooking up Cheezey Clue Dogs to save money. Oh, well!

JOE!!!

I'm having a good steak for dinner.....sorry, just had to rub it in a little. ;) Just because Dad's not here on Valentine's day, doesn't mean I can't have a nice dinner!

I agree about Savoy, btw.....some of the absolute best!

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 4:16 PM Permalink
Terry

Mom - I think that's exactly what you should be doing!

The locks are almost all done except one for the back door. Next time someone wants in here without a key, they'll have to break a window.

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 4:18 PM Permalink

So let's all do Savoy sometime sooner rather than later. We keep hearing that too...but never had it.

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 4:18 PM Permalink

Savoy's is on E 7th and lafayette. Also one on whitebear and 3rd (take out/delivery only) and one in new port i think

Mikey... Otay. EAST 7th. Near the college? And Payne? On the south side? Near the DNR Headquarters? You can see it from 94? That the place?

BIG, HUGE HONKIN' JOE!!! :D

Kevin Bacon/Sean Penn police scycological (SP?)thriller?

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 4:53 PM Permalink

I don't know about that one. We aren't much for movies and I'm not one for violence so they have to be rather tame for me.

Three locks are in minus one strike plate. Can't seem to get that lined up right - but it's better than it was.

So I was helping put tools back in their correct spots and get accused of taking his tools when he couldn't find one. Guess who's putting the rest away?!? Not me!

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 5:01 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

guess they'll just lay there then!

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 5:04 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

then when I need 'em I go back where I left 'em and my wife put them away and I can't find them!

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 5:05 PM Permalink
Terry

guess they'll just lay there then!

No way! I hear the sounds of things getting put away as I type here.

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 5:06 PM Permalink
Terry

Mikey - do you suppose there's a lesson to be learned in all that? If you put them away yourself, you'll know where they are.

You could think of it as letting them lay where they belong.

Sat, 02/14/2004 - 5:07 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

I'm usually tired from trying to find all the tools I need and supplies that when I actually get the job done I don't have any energy or time left to put them away!

so there they stay...repeat cycle

Ter, FOR CRYING IN A BUCKET!!!! LOL!!! What on gods' earth would you WANT or NEED with Inks tools? (But for that one... *SPECIAL* one! ROFLOLPMPCOOSBAGBBOMN!!!!! Ohhhhh...!!!)

Really. The man's an idiot! Taking his tools. SHEESH! Ittiz hiding behind his foot... See? THERE ittiz! :D Like you'd TAKE his tools! I'm peein' my pants here! TOO FUNNY!!!

Mikey... In THIS house (I've reached the end o'my rope...) If it gets left out - it gets pitched. Or, dropped in a lap when one's watching TV. I do draw the line - or at least have yet to do it - pouring semi-empty coffee cups/soda cans/etc. on a sleeping body... But the urge izz getting stronger all the time! :D

Green - All tools have their places to call home, don't they?!?

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

Ian, I just backslogged. I forgot about Kollin and Kris! That's amazing! I wish I could bowl like that (sigh). Give both my congratulations. Last Sun - going in with a
<cringe> 124 ave - I bowled a 15X, a 14X, and a 11X (like 115 or sumpin'). Thanks GODS ittiz non-sactioned! By the time the third game came around, I was out. I mean, really. I could hardly keep awake. What with the preceeding week outside and little sleep; and then The Re-Hash Bash. I'm lucky I didn't get all gutter balls!

Ian, question... There's a no-tap bowling thighy at the lanes this Sun AM (not tomorrow, but the day AFTER my... LOL!!!!) Do you know if non-sactioned bowlers can do that? Or does one need a sactioned average????

Pops said a 'no tap' izz like you leave one pin and ittiz considered a strike... Izz that so? If so... I'd win!!! "They" say a good bowler is one that gets spares. Well! We know what I'm NOT! LOL!!!
