KC, thanks for the Blender link. That is a sweet open source app. I have done some playing with 3DSMAX and Lightwave, but I'd also like to see how Maya compares. Any suggestions?

none presently, I never used any of the major 3D apps (1,000 bucks for software? too rich for my blood). If you're lookin for a place to learn and converse with other blender users, check out elysiun.com, they have an excellent support forum, post a question, get a few answers.

So I was out at Phalen today (I don't got anyone to worry about for valentines day) doing some geocaching, but I found more broken shovels than geocaches.

A lot of snow melted off near the wildflower sign. I replaced the sticks on the medallion's location too, some had kinda gotten spread around (wonder if I should just make a monument out of all those broken shovels?)

Was pretty quiet there today too, made it kinda eerie being there.

Damn... me and Shaggs and his bro, and another one of our homies, spotted that thing way back around like 5 or 6... it was originally up by the beach-house... we dragged it up near the boat house, and sledded on the thing

I didnt see the castle get knocked down-if it did yet. I looked over the bluff late last night but it was too dark to tell.

and by chance does anyone have a cleaned up light blue copy JPG of the medallion? I want to print it on nice paper for my ice palace collection- since there is a palace on it!
