Now how did that happen????

I shouldn't have to explain...but If you really want.... :)

ya know, back in the fall of my junior year in high school, someone in one of my classes asked that very same question to a friend of hers who was quite visibly preggers. the response: "i had sex, silly".

Men just don't get it

Oh yeah we do. I like seeing my brother's web sites as one bro has older kids and the other has a younger one than mine. It gives great perspective on where the kids are in life, what they're up to and how fast they grow up. Our three sites pretty much cover every activity that a kid does from a newborn to 14. And I appreciate every bit of it as I can see where it goes in a hurry.

My youngest bro has a pix up today of his son sitting on the toilet for the 1st time. Remember taking those pictures?

Men just don't get it.

And we never will.

You'd think you ladies would have figured that out by now.

One of my favorite pictures is of my youngest daughter sitting cross legged on a chair talking on the phone with her first boy friend.

The hardest part is when they grow up and you need them more than they need you. :(

Speaking of designing a gown, I've come full circle. I used to make my daughter's play clothes, I made her bridesmaids dresses and now I'm making her daughter's First Communion dress.

I started hunting in 1982 after being traumatically transplanted here from Southeast Missouri when I was twelve. As a kid I hunted alone every year, being an only child, and for many years I took the MTC bus to parks to hunt. In high school any good boyfriend would be at my beck and call for transportation for the hunt. For a few years, in my twenties, I had a friend that I would hunt with. We were both hairdressers and would cancel two weeks of clients to dedicate to all day and night hunting. After all, no one wants a sleep-deprived, clue-obsessed person with scissors and chemicals near their head. I first learned of the Coolercrew in Cherokee Park in 1998, when some hunters brought print outs of conversations on the PP site. I was so excited that there were other hunters that were willing to converse about the clues that the guy with the print outs gave them to me(I still have them). The first site I visited when I got a computer was the PP. That was in early 1999, since then I have met my husband and many dear friends from the Crew. You may see (or usually hear, I'm a bit animated) me in the parks, in line at the PP or around town with my husband THX, My bestest crew buddies (Leelabell, Timmers,Downtown Dave,Big G,Santa Dave, Allison, Wanda and Tammy(Dersky online),Green,Pops,CM (he's got schnapps:),ESD and Dawg,Dal,Kids,Me2,Camo Crue,Klowns et all....) The best hunt ever was "Ought to hum here" in Highland...kinda, but I don't want to talk about it. Currently, THX and myself are fulfilling our civic duty in training our seven and nine year old boys to hunt. We have since failed in that mission with our sixteen year-old daughter who thinks we are FREAKS!

TC - I fully understand. Love those babies while you have them. They will take wing sooner than anyone thinks is possible when you're dealing with teething and trying to get them to sleep through the night and that first day of school and the first crush and the first day of high school and those wild and wooly teens...then it starts...

Graduation from high school

Graduation from college

Off to see the world and OT hit it on the head. You need them more than they need you.

Having said all that, would I really want to go back to when they were younger? NO!!!

I love my kids at the ages they are right now. We have an adult relationship and that process is still finding it's way, but I love how they are growing and refining who and what they are.

EAGS!!!!!!

Bubba's foot's otay... I *think*. I really think time's gonna be the telling factor. I'd take him to the vet, but there's really nothing to be done at this point.

Ittiz kind'a pretty swollen. Fat footed pussy, ya. You betcha. But I think less so than it was yesterday. Ittiz warm, and Bubba's walking on it, putting more weight on it than he was. And it seems less sore to the touch today than yesterday. Or, Bubba's allowing me to touch the 'bunny foot part' more today than yesterday.

I've no idea what to xpect - never having gone through *this* with the kids beefore. But I'm thinking, "So far, so good." Bubba's eating, seeking/giving attention sos he's not 'sick' - like if an infection has set in. Eyes clear; gums nice and pretty pink, so he's not in shock...

So, I'm like going, "Come on, Bubba. RUN BUBBA, RUN! Use that foot Puddin' Head's boy! Don't let the fur fall off, or the skin get grungy...!!!"

So, Love... So far, so good. You think I should be doing enkneething? I don't think a trip to the vet's gonna be more than, "Watch it. And if the foot turns mushy, call me and bring him right in."

Bless you for asking. LOVE YOU!!!

Eags... And enkneebuddy else...

Ever hear o'Bells Beer? Ittiz a Michigan beer (Oh! Eags! Reminds me!!! In doing all this take-back-into-inventory-heavy-labor-stuff I'm doing... Came across two boxes from MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN and thought o'you!!!) and made in very small batches.

Sos, I'm at the liquor store tonite, getting beer. Both places in town are outta *my* beer - Lake Superior: Sir Duluth Oatmeal Stout. Sos, I punt.

Picked up a six o'Bells Cherry Stout. As I paid for it I said, "This BETTER be DAMN GOOD!" It was - you ready for THIS????

$13.99 A SIX!!!

I've NEVER EVER in my EFFIN' FRIGGIN' LIFE paid that much for a six!!!!

Guy said it was excellent - made in very very small batches - hence the high price. I said, "Just because a beer's made in small batches - which causes some to deem it 'good,' doesn't mean *I'll* like it." He agreed.

Well, LETMETELLYOU! This stuff is delicious! I'm really impressed. Tastes like a good stout mixed with a rich cheery port. Rich, full-bodied, ssssmmmmoooth and soft. Would make a good desert beer... And I've never head o'that!

Won't be buying a lot. For one thing, ittiz only like Oct-March.

Second... I wanted to celebrate. My discrecenary income's increasing... After almost 24 months. Was a long row to hoe, but I did it!!! Life is oh, so ssssllllloooowwwwwllllyyyy, returning to 'normal.'

Whatever THAT izz!

Yep, I've had Bell's. The Northland Pub serves it, and I've seen it in the stores. I'll be at the Northland tomorrow night, after the sled dogs finish taking off for their 240 mile race. Mebbe I'll have a Bell's. There's going to be a blues concert there "Dog Days of Winter" and one of the groups, from Houghton, MI, really knows what it means to play the blues.

A microbrewery in town, The Vierling, makes blueberry wheat beer. Ohmigod, is that stuff awesome!

I'll have to see what Bell's sells for up here...I'm quite sure its NOT that much around here.

So i'm reading the PP and see this story about some guy that fell through the ice in WI snowmobiling and drowned.

It was a guy I've worked 10 feet from got the last two years :(. Funny guy who was always kinda looking groggy first think in the morning... always searching for the coffee. Big time lover of the lottery lol.

Also played in the pranks. I think he owed one of 5 fart machines in the group. hehe

Great asset to the company.

Got the email from work as well.

PLEASE PRINT FOR THOSE WITHOUT E-MAIL ACCESS

I am writing to inform you about the tragic news that a fellow colleague died this morning. Mr. William ("Billy") Boehnlein, 29, was killed in a snowmobile accident on the St. Croix River, near Hudson, Wis. Billy had been with the company since 1996, serving most recently with the Trouble Isolation Group (TIG) at 10 RPP. He will be warmly remembered by all who knew and worked with him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Boehnlein family.

You may have heard media accounts of the story earlier today. Attached is a link to the Pioneer Press http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/news/breaking_news/7991957.htm.

Going to be strange walking past that desk tonight.

Yeah, in a work atmosphere it's always much better to do it sooner than later. Just too much of a distraction. It's really no disrespect to him at all.

Sadly, I had to do it for a 12 year employee/friend of mine last year. It's not easy. All of you should go to his wake. His family will appreciate it big time.

Oldtimer... What you have there is called a non responder letter. If you want to scedule an appointment, you can call right now :). The dispatcher that handles those at night is sitting right here waiting for your call :) Kevin is ready to assit you :)

Basically, you have a box thats not talking back to the system. While it's not services affecting right this second it could case problems down the road. I would recommend you let them swap it out.
