Yes, we took over 300 photos! But, the cable I need to transfer them from camera to computer is missing! IcelandAir managed to lose one of our bags on the way back. They're running a tracer on it right now, but I can't do anything until I get it. :(

I'm bock, too! (Wonder if Search put a bug in enkneebuddy's ear 'cuz they said we wouldn't have phone until tomorrow...)

Frosti!!! Can't WAIT to hear all about your trip! DETAILS!!! Minute by minute!

Ter, nope! Didn't loose the car. Kind'a hard to do in a three mile stretch! :D We did have a FIRST! Pops had to sober up a titch before driving... What was it? Fri nite/Sat morning? LOL!!! He was out dancing with me and kind'a kept falling... He said, "I think I'm drunk!" He NEVER drinks - kind'a sips a beer, MAYBEE two with food - and we laughed so hard! He was as giggley as a school girl! Like it was his first time!

EAGS!!!! I know WHERE we gotta go, Eags! Smokin'!!! I'm gonna work on Greenwell and see if I can get LC in up there... And then, Baby, all my dances are yours! :D

Ian... You otay? Did you have oral surgery? YIKES!

That pic, Kitch, izz - I believe - Terry, the Karoke guy.... And I think that was taken downstairs... So where was I???? I MISSED that! LOL!!!

KIDS!!! Thanks for the new burfday line! It was GREAT!!!

Can I tell you guys? I can make three o'Arty. MAYBEE four... Remember how she handled that guy the night o'the Pre-Dig Gig? Well... Sat nite a fight almost broke out up north. And that little slip of a woman nonchalantly marched one (both?) o'the guys OUTSIDE and they locked him/them/HER out! I went bezerko - "Arty's out there!!! Arty's out there!"

Marley shrugged and smiled; Scot shrugged and smiled - and they both said, "Don't worry about it."

And by gods!!! She took care o'everything! Got the guy calmed down and everything! Just this wee tiny fluff of a woman! She's WAY mightier than she looks!!!

Artemis the Huntress !

Yeah, I'm okay. Took 4 Tylenol 3's

Hooray for codeine !

GREEN: was there much snow up there? I could go up 'caching in a couple days, then stop by to see Artemis. (Marley's never there) But I don't wanna go if the snow's deep.

Ian... Eh. Kind'a deep. It seemed like there was less snow on the sides o'the roads on the way up than what we have here. But it seemed like the snow was piled pretty good around Smokin' Hills. But I can't remember all that much snow... It didn't seem like a lot. I mean, I wasn't paying attention to it - you know? The snowmobilers were oot un'aboot. They seemed pretty happy.

I'm sorry. Not much or good info. Kind of a non-answer.

Marley's there. He's there in the AM's or day; Arty comes in about 9:00-10:00PM, somewhere around then.

You'll have to order a Green Burger! I've asked Pat to put on the menu *my* burger o'choice: cheese burger with egg over easy (or have cooked well, whatever!) and xtra cheese.

I'm home from work sick. Have call into doc. Finally had to give in to the sinus infection. Been talking aspirin every four hours since eight last nite for the fever. I've lost my voice due to the drainage, my head's light and 'poofy' feeling, ears plugged, can't breathe, sore throat. And... I've a bladder infection, too! LOL! I'm sure THAT wasn't caused by the dust in the warehouse! LOL!!!

(sigh) Ittiz hell getting old.

I am going to see "The Passion of the Christ" this weekend, my leftist History of graphic design teacher said he thought the movie was too Fascist for him so he would not see it. I can't connect Christ and fascist, I guess he is afraid to be forced to think about it

Then also last night (unconfirmed) I heard a guy say public radio said some guy also died of a heart attack. That makes 2 dead, both heart attacks during the crucifiction scene

The Passion of the Christ...
I guess it is EXTREMELY graphic....I saw an interview yesterday that the priest said that Life is "violent" today...if they can over come the violence at the times of christ for love...we can do such today....

(not my quote)...just thinking it is really violent then for people to get in an uproar.
yup one person died...during it....but why??

sounds a little to graphic for children I'd say

I'm for one was thinking I'd skip it...now I'm more interested into going ...I figure I can handle it and I'm sure I will be a little "tingly"(lack of better term) for a few hours after.

I just not sure when can go...all my babysitters are gone for the weekend.

I think any film that graphically depicts a human being, whether Jesus or anybody else, being tortured and beaten to a bloody pulp should have some kind of effect on a person. Now does anybody really want to watch that??? might say something about our society...

KITCH

Now does anybody really want to watch that???

I would have to agree shock value is something that does sell...But that has been going on throughout history not just our modern day society. Heck I'd say if you look back we are a more civialized even today then in the past.
Look at Rome for example and the gladitors...
or hangings of old west.
People have always go in groves to see brutality.
I'm just a lemming.

I'm thinking that it is an in-your-face "Here, this HAPPENED" film-
The violence we witness today is tame compared to the way it was during those times...
Mostly, I do not think it is a bad idea to have a film with this subject matter cause people all over to discuss it, and have the lasting effects it seems to have. Our country was founded by people who believed this really happened...
James was very quiet this morning, he said he can't stop thinking about it.
Matt told me he cried during the movie, for the first time ever.
Matt fights religion, while James has always been very spiritual.
If this film caused these reactions in my boys, I am sure it will cause alot of water-cooler chatter.
