Welcome to the 5th Annual Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt!
The treasure was found just before 9am on Wednesday, March 10th, by Me2. She will get a prize around $290 plus a variety of other goodies. It was found in Marydale Park on the north side in a pit under a tree near lamp post #12.
The wrap up party will be Saturday, March 13th at 8pm at Fabulous Fern's.
I can't find my map book but I do have my GUIDE...Iris park .has a east and a west lynhurst ave do they cross...because
its nearby Amtrak?
I'm getting cross
Hatch? Isn't there a Hatch street? You cross T's too.
nice noodle on the Cross T's Idea...
Hatch ends just south of McMurray.
Inks mentioned that park earlier. Lynhurst splits to go around the park. That's why you'd have the east and west Lynhurst I guess.
Amtrak is nearby - but certainly not visible. I wonder if there is a railroad bridge though that might be visible from there.
That park is nestled in a residential area - big homes and apartment buildings - so it's not easy to see too much.
The dining and cooking could be Porky's that would be visible from the park.
I might have been on it? I never got out of the West Side today, and I don't mean Cherokee. Had a lot to do today and never got to any parks.
everytime i read HATCH...i think of tonights show on cbs.
Wow, everyone disappeared all of a sudden.
I'm over at the Reading Room Rumpus folder making myself a reading list.
Thats kinda what I thought when I first read it....
I've been thinking about Iris because AW loves that park. I am not sure I can get looking glass to fit. It would require me getting in my car and looking and I really can't hunt. Anyway, I guess there are bridges of a sort on University. The Amtrack is right there. There is food right there. If it was by the Amtrak station, porter would make sense. The porter is who hauls the the luggage around.
Hmmm, sounds like people are coming up with more parks instead of fewer ones.
Outdoor setting having biscuits and tea could also equal Porky's since you eat outside there.

Agreed, interesting how that often happens..
Which would be a bad thing if you guys already have the right park. Or it could be a good thing if you don't. hehe
lol nice to be the one who knows where the treasure is, isn't it AW? ;)
I can' tell you how many times I've typed something and then changed my mind about sending it. I hate looking stupid!
I didn't have time today
I think I could've been at the right park on the first day
I like Lewis Park because of the whole Alice In Wonderland theme with the clues. But then I worry that maybe that's too obvious.
That's enough for tonight. Night Reggie. Good luck tomorrow.
I am going to bed too
nite everyone!!!
night Reg
Todays snow might have put a little damper on my plans...oh well...its pretty...just slow drivin' and diggin'
it has on the THG page:
bakko's bend..not
bangstads bogey
angry jack pass
couple-o-chicks by george
tee in woods-no name
popke pepper
mad mackey
mr big porterhouse
All these are listed on the page and sound like something from alice in wonderland. The road makes an X by the bridge near the memorial for dead vetrans, disk golf etc. also off "ham"line Ave
I got a feeling a few other like the Highland Idea...but not telling....

let me try something..here...
now whoever could that be I wonder..... some body not REGistering their opinions?
and a partner that said he said he has all the clues...and he still can't find it..
he should go to the "where is _________??" thread
true...maybe I'll have to go down to bugg's bar again...
a prominate figure?
still don't get the entire UNJOE thing....I'd more understand a "eoJ" in this darn word...
Its just a magic show down here all smokes and mirrors...and jabberwalky.....its that darn wrabbit...
I can't tell you how manytimes I forget i'm looking for a kitty and then think I'm looking for a wrabbit....
I'm going to do some drive bys today...Highland, Iris, and Cherokee(again-why?)(I hate 2 admit I might be wrong).
Prominent can also mean jutting out beyond the line surface of something. Like a rock formation. Or a big nose.
ya like that?? damn cool....It freaked me out when I saw it the first time....
As I understand it, an unJoe is any number other than the ones ordinarily considered Joe's. This for instance is an unJoe.
too bad this isn't a joe then!
Yes, if it stands out among the others.
I think we need to stop the hunt. If the Cheshire Cat can disappear in the blink of an eye, I would think it would disappear to the Bahamas instead of staying in some cold, snowy place waiting to be found.
Nice Joe. Just doesn't count in Wonderland.
With what that caterpillar was smoking, it very well could be HIGHland ;)
I just hope I'm not picking Highland for the same reason as cherokee....(easy for me to get 2)
JAKES AT COMO
Alice’s adventure had begun before she saw the rabbit run=
started on a bank in wonderland or started with the prior book
In an outdoor setting having some biscuits and tea.
tea in woods #6 par3 in highland disk golf
Go now and don’t be late for your very important date
???
Dining and cooking you’ll find figure most prominently
highland disk golf has papke pepper/mad mackey/ big porterhouse hole markers/HAMline Ave
Made Alice ask for a dictionary from the porter.
big porterhouse?
But when he gave her a tome as big as a home
prominate figure from the bank by picnic area?site clue?
She asked if there was any way to make it shorter
a bridge??
The March Hare and Mad Hatter each grabbed a platter
disk golf with mad mackey/angry jack (rabbit) pass holes
And offered Alice a cup with all their usual glee.
“You make it quite well, what’s your secret, do tell?”
“We simply gather up the rain and stir in the tea!”
snowball with leaves around it?
Alice was curious to know, which way she should go
giving us a direction to go?
When she saw the Cheshire Cat and smiled to herself
any anagram here in "smiled to herself"??
He just gave her a grin, and then disappeared again
Saying, “Look for me near a road that crosses itself.”
Edgecumbe Rd makes a cross by the bridge
