Welcome to the 5th Annual Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt!
The treasure was found just before 9am on Wednesday, March 10th, by Me2. She will get a prize around $290 plus a variety of other goodies. It was found in Marydale Park on the north side in a pit under a tree near lamp post #12.
The wrap up party will be Saturday, March 13th at 8pm at Fabulous Fern's.
snowball with leaves around it? hhmmm good day for a snowman today at least.....
yep..looks like the noodle on the edgecombe bridge to make a X..puts two clues on that bridge...as well as the "tee in the woods"..is close by...and the Platter(disc golf)...
yep looks like como to me....
has to be the frog pond!!
Your borogoves are mimsy compared to mine!
but my toves are very very slithy
The concept of the unJoe is based on the notion of the unbirthday. Everyone has 1 birthday a year, but you have 364 unbirthdays! (or 365 this year)
And it looks like we have snow! Well now that will drag things out at least a couple more days most likely. We might even make it through the weekend, hehe.
Happy unbirthday to you AW!
Unjoe!
Great noodle summary 3M
Happy unbirthday to you also.
unJoe
Anyone hear the news there was a dead body found in Battle Creek yesterday? Poor kid was shot. I am sure you can find the story if you do a search on one of the newspapers' web sites.
AW - I hope the cat is not in the dead body part of BC.

here's the link...
The body was still warm. Scary.
The treasure is not near where the body was found.
cooler
glad I didn't have to check there ;)
yeah, that story scared me cuz I still havn't heard from chris yet, then I heard the kid was african american, set my mind as ease at least.
Will the snow cause the hunt to drag on longer? Will tonight's clue break things open? Tune in tonight at 6pm for the full story.
I saw a big white rabbit out at a park today :)
papke pepper/mad mackey
is that food?
I drove by Edgcumbe park at Jefferson - the sign there actually CROSS - there are 2 signs for edgcumbe that cross eachother and then another for Jefferson. but dont know how the clues fit in otherwise for that park since I didnt get out of my truck and walk around.
hey what?
hi Reg.
so I was reading past clues from pp hunts
and came across this one...I love the last line!
By now you know Chest One was found;
It rested on the frozen ground
High on a bluff in Cherokee—
A lass it was who had the key.
Since with such ease the Chest was found,
Another treasure's in the ground;
And as you all were proved so smart,
We're sure you'll know just where to start.
So this much we will gladly say:
It's somewhere in the U.S.A.
So are people planning on hunting tonight?
I dont plan to go out- I am tired and have to get Mark at 6:30 then stay in with a good movie.
I was wondering - it has been mentioned to me and I have seen it posted ----so, where does 6 and 3 come into play for this hunt? I have NO CLUE!
what is the idea Reg that doesnt fit anywhere?
Clue #6
Alice walked a mile, going round about for a while
When a caterpillar spoke, blowing smoke rings quite nifty.
He said, “Who are you? Are you looking for a clue?
Then perhaps you should search between fifteen and fifty.”
And the previous clue:
Clue #5
Alice was curious to know, which way she should go
When she saw the Cheshire Cat and smiled to herself.
He just gave her a grin, and then disappeared again
Saying, "Look for me near a road that crosses itself."
Clue #4
The March Hare and Mad Hatter each grabbed a platter
And offered Alice a cup with all their usual glee.
"You make it quite well, what's your secret, do tell?"
"We simply gather up the rain and stir in the tea!"
Clue #3
Hearing of the slithy toves and mimsy borogoves
Made Alice ask for a dictionary from the porter.
But when he gave her a tome as big as a home
She asked if there was any way to make it shorter.
Clue #2
Alice's adventure had begun before she saw the rabbit run,
In an outdoor setting having some biscuits and tea.
Go now and don't be late for your very important date.
Dining and cooking you'll find figure most prominently.
Clue #1.
Only those with habits like chasing white rabbits
Look in Wonderland trying to find this treasure, alas.
Vanished is the Cheshire Cat. Which park could he be at?
You might start with a peek through the looking glass.
a roundabout-turn around at Phalen-
15 - 50
actually that prking lot at the other end of phalen, I believe the streets right there are east shore drive and east shore drive, they intersect right there by the apartment building.
hehehe- notice in the last 3 clues the letters A and W are used as the first letters
I concur ESD
why did she walk only 1 mile? why not 2 miles?
why did she walk only 1 mile? why not 2 miles?
Obviously because 1 mile is only half as far to walk!
Just being silly by the way.
why did she walk only 1 mile? why not 2 miles?
Well it surely can't be because she caught the bus
Maybe she caught the train.
heehee! I saw someone waiting for the bus yesterday, I wanted to tell him they were on strike but I know he doesn't understand english so I didn't say anything.
Maybe she caught a ride in the Mystery Machine!
hahahahaha-
I want to know what that caterpillar was smoking!
Why, GRASS of course!
I went to Grass Jr. High. Seriously.
