wow, I just noticed with all the channels I lost because of viacom, I no longer have CH4! I'm gonna have to rig my TV in the bedroom so I can watch survivor tomorrow, Jerks!
I just got my next assignment in Photoshop we have to design a currency & a stamp. First we have to make up a country so I am going to do Cooler Vile as my country. Me2 do they have old photos of carnivals past at the historical society and can one scan them?
well kinda slow with no mock hunt...i'm assuming that everybody is resting ....
Anyways I'm flying out in the a.m. need to be up EARLY. I'm flying to DFW then Pensecola then driving 2hrs to Dauphin Island, AL (shhh don't tell --its nice and cheap).
I will have the laptop on dial up so at least I can check in from time to time at night......I'm planning on some golf, fishing, geocaching, and spending time with the girls...
I'm just a little worried about this long of a trip with BOTH little girls...(1yr and 3yr) last time we flew it was just Katie when she was 1...was not that bad (dramamine helps).....anyways I got some more maps, geocaching notes, car rental info, to move onto my palm.
A tad bit slow in here since the Mock Hunt is over.
We had to go out for just a birthday card tonight and drove past the park. With the rain earlier the cold air felt damp and icky. Made me glad in a way that we didn't need to hunt. On the other hand, I missed strolling in the park.
Guess we'll have to do that more this summer. It's really very nice there and a good place for a walk.
I'm heading for the covers and plan to get under them asap.
Good Morning! Doubt if I've even had a chance to post since the hunt started....but I've been watching and slogging. Never did get out to the park, but had a good idea about where it was, so I don't feel too bad about that.
CONGRATULATIONS, ME2!! Good job finding the cat! (Saw someone post about old newspapers - I don't have a box full, but I have some - don't remember the year, but pretty old...do you save them?)
Had to do some looking at Dauphin Island after that comment from Kitch...."Nice and cheap", doesn't take a lot more to get MY interest. Looks like a great place, and really isn't too expensive, as places like that go. Thinking we might have to visit there too someday.
Ian, you've been off work a WEEK, and your wife's already antsy? You'd better start looking busy with those household projects....I know that's what happened here. I have a hole in the living room (plumbing) and another hole in my bedroom (plumbing) and yet another in the 3rd floor (electrical)...THAT project has actually been completed - we're in the process of moving our office up there.

Hi,
I know that it's not your fault. I bought an early edition of the Sunday paper, specifically to read this article. After the short piece on the front page, I couldn't find the remainder of the article anywhere.
I called the News Desk, reported the problem, and basically was told "Hey, you know what? I can't find it either. It must be a "bad jump." Now I have no idea what that is. I mentioned that doesn't help me, or the other 100's (1000's ?) of people who buy early editions. I was offered no solution.
I feel that this is very poor P.R. for the Pioneer Press. Could you please forward this to the appropriate person?
Thanks,
Ian
I received this response from the writer, and nothing since.
Wow. I was out of state this past weekend and did not hear of this problem. An article that does not finish all on one page "jumps" to another page, so a "bad jump" is exactly what you experienced. Sorry. I'll forward this on. Thanks for the heads-up.

Link doesn't work, LL.
Really!!! how can I post that from my E-mail???
You could detach it, then upload it as an attachment, but it's probably too big.
Otherwise you'll have to upload it to somewhere else, like your web-space through comcast.
sounds complicated for a dummy like me :) I'd never figure it out!
I sent you an e-gram to mail it to me.

Goodnight and SCDs everyone!
Dunno if I read right in the other thread while sloggin... but is there a re-hash??
im doubting it, cause of the weather n stuff.... but.. cant hurt to ask.
There is most likely going to be a re-hash, but it would be indoors at a restaurant/bar type establishment.
