Sounds good. I'd like to try and find that one of Ian's at Phalen that we were looking for. I assume that you finally found it. I wonder if it's still out there? One of his carnival button caches
I believe all Ian's caches @ Phalen are still there and in good order. Some are more devious than others, I finally had found them all a month or so ago, so I do know where they all are now, except he rehid the one on the east side of the lake, that's close to my cache.
Hi everyone- I think I got the dog thing under control-
Saturday I plan to help in that "clean up a park day" - I think you just show up at a park -you don't have to sign up ahead of time.
I am sooooooo sick of our friggen ghost!!!! this morning Mark took a shower and water dripped through the ceiling to the entrance to the kitchen!!!!!! we have always had problems with the water on the 2nd floor! The handle to the shower head to control the hot/cold keeps tightening up on us and Mark swears he is not tightening it.
also while I was typing all this to you guys I heard this freakish scare yell- I thought maybe Whitney just got home and was around the corner on the steps to the main floor trying to scare me but when I went to look there is NO ONE around-the kids arnt even home- I grabbed my cell phone and holy crap was that creepy!
I am beginning research for an article on 'ghost homes and places in St Paul'-incluing the Griggs mansion, court house and MY HOUSE! wow!
there are places where people died -like a train wreck on the Mississippi river at Robert St back 100 years ago and cemeteries that arnt there any longer that have spooky phenomenons
Nah man... blinking stuff on peoples personal sites, suck ass.... its like... people are always getting bored and throwing stuff on their sites... they end up adding blinking stuff, and music.... ugh.... ninja... just keep in mind that "some" of us got piece of crap computers

I would have deleted it I just wanted to see if I could make it work. and we are just learning html to know how things work in a week or so we will switch to Dream weaver and concentrate on design.
Yesireebob. You wanna meet in that last lot at 3? Anyone else? (THX,KC) Where are the cords for yours KC?
CM, we should try to get out and frisbee golf this summer
You bet M2K! I'm dying to get my first game in this year. I know that Reg and KC were interested too. If Sunday isn' the wash out that they're predicting, I'll probably hit a few courses with the kid if you or anybody else wanted to give it a try. It's fun and free!
Newbie Question: What's this? Use waypoint: GCJ3XZ
I didn't get that at first either. Actually, every geocache is assigned an ID like GCJ3XZ, kinda like saying this is cache #10000 or something like that.
Some people mark their waypoints with that ID (i.e., the name you give a waypoint on your etrex) personally I don't use that ID much at all, but have been forced to lately because easyGPS uploads it as the waypoint name to my Rino130.
The coordinates you want are the lones in bold at the top of the geocache page though.
Bummer, well, you know where the cache is now, you can get it anytime. I'm going to restock the cache with buttons today, so I'm sure there'll be pelnty there, as I'll be out of town the week after this one.
Agreed on the cable upload, it's a definate lifesaver, easyGPS iis super slick to use too (not to mention free).
Anyone could have stopped out to do some caching. ESD went out for his first time today. Alibabas and I found 3 of them. 2 with ESD and KC and we found KC's cache by ourselves. Ran into some fellow cachers at 2 of them. Awesome day outside. Headin back there myself. Later all.
Hey KG!! LOL yeah I was thinking about it.. but I couldn't find any motivation.. that and I don't have one of those GPS thingies.. lol so it wouldn't do me any good.
Yeah a GPS does help, but I proved you can find geocaches without one, it just takes a little longer, all you need is a map (you can print them online from mapquest) zoomed in as much as possible on the location you get from the geocache site, try to have a street in view on the map, or some other feature, and then figure out where the cache would be.
Otherwise, I go geocaching most Saturdays, and company is always welcome, as I'm usually out on my own. Like THX said, it's an excellent way to get to know the parks. My knowledge of the area parks has increased tenfold since I started.
So, last night I took my wallet out of my bike bag before going to the spring sailing meeting. My car doesn't lock, so I figured if somebody stole my bike bag, at least they wouldn't get my wallet.
While in the meeting, I realized my wallet wasn't in my pants pocket. I assumed this meant that I had merely thought about taking it in but forgot to do so. I was half right. Got back out to the truck, and I'd left my wallet sitting right on the dash in plain sight in an unlocked vehicle for 2 1/2 hours.
The Gods of Joe are with you, Frosti. Musta been all those I gave you. Dennis the Furry Gherkin sends his regards, he has been subcontracting for NASA doing extensive research on brine and Uranus. I hope he's getting paid well, I heard Uranus is large, bumpy, and kinda smelly.
ESD- They keep me workin' hard this time of year.... 7PM bedtimes, and all... The job is still a love of mine, though...( I take school portraits) I'll be laid off for the summer soon enough. YAY!!!! Frosti- I relayed your message to Dennis, and he replied "Harumph, the dude doesn't know a flare-up from a super-nova." He said you'd know what that meant. Apparantly, the two of you worked on a project for Piper Jaffrey together? Well- I have a hard time keeping up with Dennis since I freed him from the "Prison Beneath The Stove" What can you do? You save them, nurture them, love them, and they forget your kind deeds so easily....SIGH. Hello! To Terry V., Me2, Liquor Lady, OTS, oooh geeze! I can't go thru the whole list!
CM what time on Sat.
I probably wouldn't want to commit to a time any earlier than 3. You wanna hook up ESD?
Geocache get together????
Do I sense somebody jonezin for a search? Did you already find KC's caches THX? I see you did find a Joe. Hopefully it'll be nice out Saturday.
Did you already find KC's caches THX?
Nope. Not yet.
I haven't had time to play around at all.
Cooler

sounds cooler any time is good for me on Sat.
Uhoh, I better make a visit to my cache to replenish the button supply.
I can make a stop by Phalen @ 3pm. Should be done with the CITO event by then, and that's nearby.
Anyone interested in dropping by Swede Hollow afterwards? There's one cache there I haven't found, and it's been buggin me.

that didn't work you guys are lucky I tried to make a blinking word.
That reminds me.
Years ago Ares had something on his web site to the extent of: "What this page needs is a big ass blink tag", or something to that extent.
It made me laugh my ass off.

Uhh... i heard the word free... okay.. you got my attention.
I will see you there at 3
I'm not sure if I can make it or not.
Where ya'll meeting up at?
Best place at Phalen to meet up is either the mosh pit or the ampitheater.
Coordinates to my geocache are on it's page
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=5c445df2-9c5c-4ee5-9bb2-9efb86d5ba67
I'll plan on being at the ampitheater at 3pm, hopefully run into a few of your there.
too funny-
Women were known for giving 'landmarks' while giving directions like: between point A to point B you will pass object 1.
Men were known for no landmarks -just point A street to point B street turning at C street.
now its: "go to GPS coordinates".
hahahaa
Newbie Question: What's this?
Use waypoint: GCJ3XZ
I don't understand those cords.
The #3 parking lot is right by the
ampitheater.
Cooler I did some printing for a student that graduated last quarter and he gave me a copy of Dream Weaver very cool.

Thanks KCGORN,
I plugged the cords in (What a pain. I gotta get a cable to upload them).
Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it today though.
:-(

MM you shoulda shown up, coulda got a button!
Oh well, if anyone's ever interested in getting one, or learning how to geocache, I'm close by phalen, and am available most Saturdays.
Hey KG!! LOL yeah I was thinking about it.. but I couldn't find any motivation.. that and I don't have one of those GPS thingies.. lol so it wouldn't do me any good.
I don't have one ether but I am thinking about it. That was very fun thanks for letting me try yours out KC0GRN.

K T how ya been stranger?
You tell Dennis to mind his business. It's dangerous work there on Uranus. Methane gas flare-ups and all.
