Been a long time since I had enough time to both slog and post.
LL - I wish you all the luck you could have with Chris. Tough love to turn him in. It would be better, perhaps, if you could get him some mental health help. He's acting out for a reason and if one could figure out what the bottom of that reason is, he might turn out okay.
My daughter - the luckiest gal on two feet when it comes to cars - had a tree fall next to her car during the storm the other night. $3000 in damages. She now has a loaner car while hers gets repaired.

LL.... you should write Dr. Phil a letter, and take your son to see him.... dude... yeah... his show sucks a bunch, but lately ive found myself zoning out, and then his show comes on, and I just get hooked watching it.... he just has a way about making people, no matter how old they are, feel bad about things they do.... just watching him, makes me wanna stop doing whatever im doing at the current time, because I feel like im breaking a law, or hurting someones feelings by just sitting there....

no kidding. we've been in our house nearly 6 months, and still can only get one of our vehicles in the garage. oh well, at least navigating the riding mower from the back of the garage to the front is fun :)
Oh, I know. The cleaning and decluttering is already in high gear.
And you're right. We got the front and back porches done, and I said to my wife "Hey, I'm starting to remember why I wanted to buy this place!"
Did I mention decluttering and cleaning???
I think I'm just going to tie the kids up in the basement until the house sells.
Congrats on the houses guys but just keep in mind that the three most stressful things in life are death, divorce and moving.

LL... too bad they discontinued that program! I was hoping that seeing what you are afraid of would help Chris understand that you love him enough to not want him to screw up his future. Anyway, take heart. You are a good mother and someday Chris will understand where you are coming from.

O.K.- Terry V, things have wound down as far as pictures go, but "the bosses that be" have found a way to keep me "employed" as far as the mothership is concerned, so I get my summer time off, but still keep my benefits.
It was a big deal for me- $30.00 per month, versus $450.00- so I'm a happy camper.
I'm just waiting for the river water to warm up, so the big Catfish will start biting.
 You never know- This may be the year we get the State record!
