but is it a part of the curriculum?

Does it matter?

is it your computer or do others use it too?
The only two people who use the computer in question are my boss and I, it's not in a class room it's in the production lab it's used to print student color projects and other students can't even see the screen only teachers or production lab staff and I did not create this design during any class I designed it at home and brought it to school.

I'd advise you to get your affairs in order. You're bound for the Gulag, Digger. Kerry's election is a distinct possibility.

But Gulags need web designers, too.

"And Rick, all we have to go on is what is stated here"

So, it's pretty hard to comment w/o hearing the other side or taking things at face value. Didn't you scold me about that once? Care to practice what your preach?

"My point is that apparently you two take more of an issue with Diggers design than what he claims is being taught in the class room."

I think he showed it here. He thought it was clever. Cutting and pasting devil horns on a picture? Oh, my. I don't think anyone has ever done that before....

The story goes like this 85% of the teachers and staff are Bush haters and would vote for Stalin to get Bush out of office. So the rest of the staff or students that are to old to be brain washed have to bite there tongues to keep there jobs or in my case to pass the classes. I have no problem what so ever with some one speaking there mind and stating there views, but then every one should be allowed to do so as long as they do not disrupt classes and get all there work done. And it's not like I am not getting good grades last quarter I made the honor roll with a 3.65 GPA.

I drew those horns with the pen tool in Illustrator lets see you do that.
I also drew my current avatar in Illustrator from scratch if you think all I do is cut and paste you are sadly mistaken.

Portraying Kerry as a demon makes him a helluva lot more colorful than he is, I'll tell you that.

I wish there was a little more demon in him. He'd be more interesting than a stiff-upper-lipped New Englander.

Not in class I don't, and it could actually be considered breach of contract.

Do stipulations like that get written into a teacher's contract, counselor?

let's see...these teachers know you are conservative...you put pictures of Kerry with horns on the computer...the teachers are 85% liberal and apparently in charge of hiring and firing each other...and yet you are getting good grades from them.

okay.

See, that is what is wrong with this entire story. Did you take a POLL and ask them who they "Hated"? Good God man... Do they wear a "Sickle and Hammer" emblazoned on their Red arm-bands and say "8.5 out of 10 of us, HATE George Bush!" in the schools literature...?

I don't have to take a poll I have there propaganda drummed in to my head 5 days a week.

Bad Movie, Bad Politics

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/06/04/politics/main621210.shtml

Scientists have pooh-poohed the movie. But that didn't stop it from causing a political row; a real-life response verged on the ridiculous.

Former Vice President Al Gore supported it, saying he would begin a series of speeches on global warming pegged to the film's release.

Hehehehehe

What's so funny, giggly?

We saw the movie last week. I thought it was great entertainment. The disaster scenes were great, but the storyline was kinda hackneyed. A good summer flick. Conservatives have been having fits about it all week. They take everything so seriously.

So the veep in the picture looks kinda like Cheney. Old Oil Can himself probably had good laugh.

Managed to lose the presidency when more people wanted him than the other guy.

June 7, 2004 — When Chad Taylor noticed his son was apparently experiencing serious side effects from Ritalin prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, he decided to take the boy off the medication. Now, he says he may be accused of child abuse.

In February, 12-year-old Daniel began displaying some symptoms that his father suspected were related to the use of Ritalin.

"He was losing weight, wasn't sleeping, wasn't eating," Taylor told ABC News affiliate KOAT-TV in New Mexico. "[He] just wasn't Daniel."

So Taylor took Daniel off Ritalin, against his doctor's wishes. And though Taylor noticed Daniel was sleeping better and his appetite had returned, his teachers complained about the return of his disruptive behavior. Daniel seemed unable to sit still and was inattentive. His teachers ultimately learned that he was no longer taking Ritalin.

School officials reported Daniel's parents to New Mexico's Department of Children, Youth and Families. Then a detective and social worker made a home visit.

"The detective told me if I did not medicate my son, I would be arrested for child abuse and neglect," Taylor said.

http://abcnews.go.com/sections/Living/US/mental_illness_treatment_kids_040607-1.html

What a bunch of crap. If he doesn't want to medicate his son that's his business. If the kids is disruptive then perhaps he has to go to an alternative school. We medicate our kids today, for being kids.

we don't even know if there would have been a 9/11 if Gore had been elected.

Swift and daring (sometimes reckless) action is completely consistent with Clinton's line of thinking. There's no reason to think that it wouldn't carry over to his loyal vice president.

They had more years of experience than the Bush people did.

Yeah, right. Clinton didn't do shit after the first WTC bombing.

we don't even know if there would have been a 9/11 if Gore had been elected.

We can be pretty sure. Clinton had the USS Cole & the first WTC bombing. What makes you think Gore would have prevented 9/11?

The thing is, we'll have another 9/11, sooner or later.

I just do not understand the mindset of the left. It seems to be say anything that will get a lefty elected. Don't worry about the nation, it is all about winning elections.

As THX pointed out, Clinton had the USS Cole and first WTC attack with little to no response. There was also attacks on a Military Training Ctr in Riyadh, Khobar Towers, US Military barracks in Saudi Arabia and two American embassies bombed in E. Africa. But Bush is the one to blame because he must have known about 9/11 although they cannot provide us with any proof that there was a credible report of that day, place and type of attack.

Now that Ronald Reagan has passed away, the Democrats cannot even wait for the funeral before continueing attacks on him. From those lovable folks at Democratic Undergroundwe get such sentiments as "fuck you ronnie, here's to ya pal. see ya in hell" and "Thank God. Whatever took God so long, anyway." There was also this one, "if it was legal to piss on Reagan's grave I would gladly do so..."

If you think that this is just the extremist, think again. From this linkwe find, "The interns were just doing what they thought was right," says a DNC staffer, who heard about the incident. "But somebody a bit more senior told them not to lower the flagsuntil they absolutely had to, I guess when President Bush announced that all flags should be lowered. There was only an hour's difference. It was pretty petty, but that's how bad things have gotten around here."

Some Dems won’t even attend the funeral. (link) It seems that they have other things to do.

More later.

I see nothing wrong with candidates running ads, or making public appearances, UNLESS they say they're not going to.

Kerry said he was cancelling his appearances, not his ads.

I dont' quite understand his logic on keeping up the ads, but not the appearances, but whatever trips his trigger.
