I have my own Paypal account but their are fees involved cause it is a "premier" account. I opened this 'donated account' thinking it would be easier to make it all go to one spot and Whitney could keep track on a computer list of the people who have donated and then have Paypal send 1 check via mail to her. It wasn't until after people started donating that Paypal e-mailed me and said they needed a bank account (even if I was requesting a check later). I always thought you could have a paypal account without a bank account-I thought what a great way to collect savings and pay bills without dealing with the bank. anyhow, I just set up a 'bank account' in that account soooooo, everything should be fine Kitch. I will let you know tomorrow if it didn't work. It should though. Looks like after I have a bank account set up it still remains a "regular account". as i recall, i've always held that i'd wear jeans to my own wedding if i could find a girl who would let me. well, this one is worth me wearing a tuxedo for. many times over. no, we haven't yet set a date, but y'all will be the first ones to know when we do. been busy as hell lately. finally feel like we're home, with everything put in its place. for a long time we couldn't fit a single vehicle in the 3 car garage :)

The weather this weekend was perfect! Now if we could get a string of these, there'd be some very happy people around these parts.

As for jeans and weddings - Ares just didn't understand when he made that statement, once he fell head over heals in love, he'd wear whatever she asked him to wear for the wedding - including a tux.

whats funny is I was IMing with Sue earlier and she said she had to go because they were cleaning up some of Ares stuff...I laughed and asked if it was getting tossed because that is usually what happens to a mans things after a couple hooks up :) hahahaha and after you are married it becomes "our" stuff and she does what she pleases with "our" stuff. hahahaha (technically that is just a myth ;p)

I tried to bring my guide and hunt ideas with me as I lay on the lawn chair trying to catch some rays. It was too bright and I fell asleep so I didnt get far today on it.

It's a dream of mine to one day have a room in my house, dedicated to just having toys set up in there... im gonna get a model train thing to run around (even though trains aint my thing), and some of them race car tracks, and then some of those glass cases, like they have at Shinder's so all the action figures and whatnot dont collect dust.

dude... speakin of Castle Greyskull... ya'll ninjas see that their sellin new ones??... they look like the WWF Titan Tron set, and you can buy new He-Man toys with the metal things on their feet, that set off noises on the Greyskull set... that sucks.... they should leave old toys alone.... either re-sell it and shut up, or dont even bother... dont re-package it, and try to improve on it...

I flipped when I saw that they started sellin the smaller G.I. Joes again... thats the shit.... I still think they need to make a live action movie or 2, or 3 out of that.... damn man... I'd wanna help direct it, to ensure they dont have any goofups, and whatnot.

I was on channel 9/29 and took Yamada and a camera guy into the Yoerg Cave over a month ago. Greg Brick and I showed them the leftover gun powder and the mess left by the bomb squad and the St Paul police department. sooooooooooo, than why is this NEWS last night????? They didn't do anything about it back then.

#1 what the hell were teenagers doing DIGGING inside a cave? geesh!

I feel that even though I am not getting credit for bringing to attention last month that I REALLY don't want credit for it because I don't want to feel responsible for the destruction of the nature on the bluffs.

I feel so "not listened too" BUT on the other hand ...I feel awful SICK what they did to the cave last night ALONG with the destruction of all the trees and nature cut down from Ohio St all the way back 3/4 of a block into the woods to the cave entrance. Completely mowed down so they could get trucks back there. :(

I plan to post a picture hopefully tomorrow-I have to load pics from my sisters computer---so if any of you drive down there and get pics, please post them. YOU GOTTA AT LEAST GO LOOK! technically they did a good job if they were making a road. This "new" dirt road though looks like one of those roads in a rainforest! My heart sunk to see it.

Now, a reason a PHOTO should be posted in newspapers and internet and shown on tv is because this is what will happen to 50 caves throughout the Mississippi River "Mushroom Valley" St Paul - Lilydale! There will be thousands of trees cut down and trails to each cave so they can bull doze them!

ALSO note: we covered on the news how polluted this cave is --they just sealed it without CLEANING IT OUT!!!!!! yeah they may have pulled more gun powder out but this shows that when they decide to seal these caves they will become like TOMBS with trash ie: bottles, metals, woods, cans, mattresses and even a milk truck inside. This CANNOT BE GOOD!

as I am venting my frustrations to you I just got a call from Jessica Miles from KSTP- I got to vent to her-she is down at the Yoerg cave right now and hopefully if she quotes me right than she can "stick it" to this stupid Randy Kelly Plan, maybe get people talking to make a good change for these caves instead of sealing them up. Kelly does what he wants-maybe I should run for Mayor so I can do what I want!

Ive been in caves down there a buncha times.... I dont think the answer is just saying "screw it!!" and filling them all in.... they keep complaining about how much money it'll cost to do it... well.. then why not spend the money on something decent, to where people can still admire the caves, but on another more safer level... like... dude... theres a buncha cities that have made parks out of their cave systems... maybe they should consider doing something like that... im pretty sure that with a join effort by Minneapolis (yes, theres caves over there too), they might be able to do something of a twin cities effort.

people arent gonna just forget about the stuff, if it keeps getting thrown back in our faces, every time a married couple, or some teenages decide to go and "investigate" and see whats left behind, days, weeks, or even months after something has gone down/been found.

I was going to a bunch of the city council meetings and checkin stuff out and tryna voice an opinion, by putting in some phone calls, and e-mails, but Me2.... your not the only person thats not being "listened to".... theres more of us.

turns out the kids who found this stuff the other day were the same two people from March! they went back in!! So it looks like many people are going in and finding explosives---when in actualality its the same two people AND the gunpowder is inert. It wont harm anyone anyhow. Supposedly Kelly and the police department met today but I havnt heard details yet. It only adds to my frustrations of the day. ::poor Mary :: -

oh and another guy from KSTP called me this afternoon trying to get me to interview with him but I am tending to Mary, and the media always seams to take things out of context and post the least or worst thing possible to the cause! uuuuuuuuhhhhh! I declined.

Mary went in this afternoon. They gave her another physical and said she looked great. They were very positive about the whole thing. Then they put her "under" and her heart stopped. They brought her back and tried the anesthesia again and her heart stopped again. They brought her back again. They decided not to operate today. They let her rest and we picked her up about 5 pm and brought her home and she is running on her wheel now.

They said they can try a different anesthesia in a couple of days. give her time to recoup.

ok, anyone have a Quest WIRELESS phone?

I have been a Quest cellphone member since Dec. 1997
my favorite thing about them is that if someone calls my cell and I dont answer it -it rings to my home phone after approx 4 rings-then I dont get charged cellphone minutes to answer my home phone or my answering machine pics it up.

here is my current gripe that EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE OF:

I recieved my bill on June 2? and it says...
"if you use your cell phone after 5/7/04 than you agree to these charges"

the charges were the new "cost recovery fee 911".50 per month AND "Cost Recovery Fee WLNP"$1.25 per month

These are NEW ADDITIONAL CHARGES that will show on every bill supposedly with EVERY CELLPHONE CO. (not just Quest).

My original gripe was that I was never given a chance to NOT USE my phone after 5/7/04 cause I didnt get the statement until after June 1.

turns out Brad at Quest says that everyone was surprised at the FEES!

CHECK THIS OUT: this is what those fees stand for:

"cost recovery fee 911"= as of April 2004 all cellphones have a GPS chip in them. This fee is for the 911 to deal with extra calls by cellphone users and to be able to pay for the new GPS tracking system to find a person with this chip!

I HAVE AN OLDER PHONE-so why should I pay this fee?!!!!!
Brad says he disputes this as well for the people who dont have newer phones BUT there isnt ANYTHING we can do about it-it is an "across the board" fee-everyone must pay!

"Cost Recovery Fee WLNP"= This fee is also NON DESPUTABLE - everyone must pay. Recall when everyone wanted to be able to switch cell phone companies and keep their cell phone same number? Well there is ALWAYS a catch!

This is a Government fee! Tricky government! I don't recall hearing we would be charged to "have the opportunityto change companies" - What about little ol me? who never changes companies!! I still have to pay the monthly fee.

Take note that we already pay 40 cents monthly for the 911. Now its up to .90 per month AND the $1.25 per month for this new 'feature'
= everyone should have an increase of $1.75 per month.

NOW: when I called and expressed my concerns I explained NICELY (actually I just woke up and was nicer than I usually am)

I #1 did not agree with getting a charge with NO NOTICE!

and after he said there is absolutely no way he can take the fees off. I asked him "How much ADVANCED notice do I need to give him to cancel my cellphone account?"-he said since I was not on a specific time frame that he could transfer me to a "cancel account person". I proceded to tell him that I will be calling back to deal with that after I look at other companies, as well as, I guess the magic words were, ..."I have been with Qwest for years and I don't wanna leave", "I am gonna have to check my other options" ---He said that, and I quote, "you have one of the best accounts I have seen" and he put me on hold to see what he could do. (which I am sure he says that to many people, but it sounded nice)


He came back and said that if a person calls them demanding that the charges be dropped from their account and that they refuse to pay them than he is required (By Law??) to just apologize and not change anything on the account. But because I said it in the 'correct' way, where I said that "I don't want to leave Quest" it gave him the opportunity to offer me a 'deal'.

He then gave me a, effective May bill, 1 month free = $43.00-he said he cannot take the fees off still-those are SET IN STONE. But that a one month credit would basically take care of 22 months worth of those fees.

I could be put on a list that disagrees with WLPN and someday that list will get sent to the government. I may get a call about it at a later date.

So, If I were you-call whatever cellphone company you have and check those fees and say you dont want to leave them but you need to check other options because of it. see what happens.

I thought maybe some of you would LOVE to hear about the GPS thing.
so when you call 911 they can find you in a snowbank...but only if you have the new phone -other wise if you have an older one like me-YOUR SCREWED-you pay for the service and dont have it!

I still don't get how in the world this sucker is going to work...I got an expensive gps and sometimes even sucks so much in my car I don't get signal..(supposedly my van has metal in windshield and hinders satallite reception)

And if inside a building won't work at all or if in the trunk of the car like the girl yesterday.

So you paying for something that will work have the time is the way I see it.

If I was ever stuck in the middle of nowhere in trouble, I could always use the APRS through amateur radio channels. Basically that's just using a GPS and a radio to report your position.

Still haven't bought into the cell phone craze. Guess I'm not a big fan.

BTW, anyone else use yahoo for email? Just checked mine today and saw they upgraded the mailbox size to 100mb and the attachment sizes to 10mb. Can't say much about the "streamlined interface" though. But the rest is cool.

Now all they have to do is stop charging for POP3 access.

KC- I almost find it a must during a hunt-but, everyone seams to always know where I am and can find me in the park at most given times. The hard thing is after we get into clue 5 I am no longer on-line-I am in a park or at a bar ;)

Which reminds me about the Mayor thing...he got to hang out with Vulcans, and ride in limos and get to be in parades- must be rough being Mayor. Wasnt someone in the Cooler supposed to set us up to be in next years Parade? we need to put together a float or something. ANy volunteers? I volunteer to show up and ride on it ;p
