I missed 17... i skipped over it, I went directly from being 16, to being 21... first I was able to drive, and the next year I could drink too. What a fun combination.

Did I miss something? Did they change the name of laptops to hiptops, when I was in a liquor induced coma, saturday night/sunday morning or something?

Cause thats the 4th person Ive heard/seen talk about a "hiptop" in the past 3 hours.

nah, hiptops are like an oversized cellphone with a teeny weenie keyboard and a wireless net connection. Would come in handy for the hunt.

they really are not THAT bad...is reg. cell phone plan..PLUS another $20 month on top on of that for FULL unlimited internet a month.

I can never tell when my buddy is on the hiptop or on the internet at home...but these guys are 100% connected all the time.

They drive down the road IM'ing and emailing anybody at anytime.

It is truely insane....

Very nice!

My digital would have probably crapped out with the sun in there, usually if I get a sun shot all I end up with is white noise for a picture.

You need to give them Mountain Dew around 8:00 PM.

That won't help.  They'll stay up later, but they'll still likely get up really early, and just be cranky during the day.

I better "chime" in.....

since this move Katie is staying up LATE due to being afraid of her new room...
but she still gets up at her same time of 6ish....

ALL I want is to be able to teach her how to sleep in on Saturdays.

Mon, 07/12/2004 - 6:08 AM Permalink

That will happen when she is 30 or so:)

My nine year old woke me up last Saturday around 6:00 to tell me he fed the cats, so I didn't have to.

I was like "Thanks, but couldn't you wait until I woke up to tell me?".

The worst thing is that since I moved....um...friday nite....

the Newspaper delivery man is putting the paper inside the front door at 430a.m......(nice)
at the old house the guy just threw it from the sidewalk.......

but my dog is barking at him then since he opens the screendoor at 430am.

I'm wonder how long its going to take till my dog is going to stop and get used to him....(if ever).....

oh well...maybe I should get get outta bed then and go for a run......
(heck no....what am I thinking).

speaking of newspapers, one of these days i have to call up the pp to subscribe and hopefully get some kind of assurance that doorstep delivery really means just that. i don't want to have to walk down to the end of the driveway to get my paper in the morning.

It'll depend on what type of route your on for their delivery service...  if your actually on a doorstep delivery route, then thats where it'll be.. but theres some routes that they refer to as a "motor" route..... or atleast thats what Star Tribune calls em... and in those cases, usually they put a box on the street, next to where your road-side mail box is at, if you've got one of them.

I am not on a doorstep route OR a motor route -so what do you call it when the newspaper is 10 feet from the front door on the sidewalk?
