I think that this clue is getting at what the treasure is in.  What is it that enchants us?  the treasure.  It's small and ocular in shape, or close to it.  Me2 uses the word crypted.  I think of it being in something.  If there was a word play, wouldn't it be "encrypted" instead of just crypted?

found this urban legend, clue #3?

I first moved to Huntsville, Alabama when I was seven years old. One of the first legends I heard was the one of “Dead Children’s Playground”, located beside Maple Hill Cemetery.

The story is as follows:

Back in the 60’s or 70’s many children started disappearing from the Huntsville area. There were searches after searches, and no children turned up. One day a small scull was found at a playground beside the cemetery. After much studying, it was concluded that the scull belonged to one of the many missing children of that area. Just as any murder investigation goes, the area in which the scull was found was inspected, only to find the bodies of all of the other missing children. It was said that the murders were done sacrificially by satanists.

The legend is, if you go to Dead Children’s Playground around midnight you will hear children laughing, crying, and screaming. The swings will swing without a wind.

Dude.... okay.... i like this hunt..... its makin me go to all my favorite parks...

Aight.... I like all the stuff about Mounds and the cave and graveyard aspects, but has anyone considered Lillydale?

theres a buncha "urban legends" centered around that place.... one of which is... theres supposed to be a graveyard deep in the woods someplace, thats forgotten about, and it contains the mysterious, and always talked about, but never seen (trust me... we've had groups of people out lookin for it),  famous 13 graves.... and theres another "urban legend" about being able to hear and see kids dressed in white laughing in Lillydale, after a certain time at night....

Plus... I dunno... I think the mounds stuff is going on, way too early.... Come on... the park, already?... nah... clue 1 sounds like it should be a clue 8, should it actually be at Mounds..... but who knows...

 anyhow... yeah... this hunt rocks..

"Two thunbs up says Shaggy and J.."

The New York Post calls it "A mock hunt worth hunting for..."

I was looking at lilydale too, the only haunted parks I could find was that one and Buff park, but I can't seem to find any info on Buff ecept that some guy committed suicide there and you are supposed to be able to hear him screaming that he's gonna kill himself.

Clue #5

Calling all Angels:
The gateway to Heaven is open!

All aboard for this ghostly ride
Do not travel to the wrong side

For not this pioneer man, but his legacy

Built an empire, such aristocracy
He had a great vision upon the hill
A phantom whistle could give a chill
