this article has some olympic cycling news, plus a picture of Tyler's back after the Tour - what a mess!
Good article, thanks for posting. I didn't realize the Olympics were coming up so soon!
Really, really soon!
Opening ceremonies tonight?
No idea. :)Â
I think so though, judging by the hype.
Oh, and Go Iraq Soccer team!Â
Iraq soccer? Don't you know that we're at war with them? Why do you hate America?
Yeah, I'm such a communist pinko terrorist-loving liberal.Â
US team placed 18th in cycling. Not a good show.
Crikeys. And I missed it.
I've been watching a little Olympic coverage. I missed the cycling, but saw some good swimming. How 'bout them South Africans?
I'm reading some info about Olympic Cycling. Turns out Tyler Hamilton was the highest place US rider at 18th. Yikes.
Uhyuh. Hincapie said that he wasn't quite recovered from kicking the rest of the worlds ass in the TDF. I can forgive him. :) At least he and Tyler finished - Leipheimer & Mccartnery DNF'd. It was brutally hot, I guess some guys were going through the water like crazy - 2 or 3 bottles a lap.
The US coach got fined $162 for giving water to one of his riders outside the designated area. Also, a woman cyclist got fined the same amount for flipping the bird as she crossed the finish line.
I'm feeling very Olympic today.

And finally, nothing to do with the Olympics.

Perhaps I should start following Formula 1

Sorry, though dude - you just can't make car racing exciting enough for me to watch.Â
The new Playboy came yesterday, and has a "Women of the Olympics" section.
Woo and hoo. I'll be perusing that next time I'm over.Â
