The first spike, in the picture above, disappeared in California. The second spike, a rusty railroad spike, disappeared at a rest stop on 35, south of Owatonna. It'd be hard to believe it wasn't intentional. A plastic briefcase-sized container, hidden in a tree stump, almost as far away from the building as you can get.
if ya ever need one, i ganked a half dozen old railroad spikes from the sides of the railroad tracks at orchard during me2's hunt. i'm actually thinking of placing a couple of them on thx's shed. :)
Location: Clues posted every two hours outsside the Gandy Dancer Book Store.
I almost forgot about this MAJOR waste of my time last weekend!!!
The clues for this hunt was Extremely lame!!! The first 3 clues pointed to an trail that was about a mile from the final spot. It had the trails name in a clue.
Then the "spike" was located at a picnic table at a local drive-in that had people eating dinner on it!!!!!!!
idiots!! (ever heard of putting it in a PUBLIC place and not a private biz???)
yep, those people play the game the way it's supposed to be played. I think Camo Crue! was taken down that way by Centris.
Wow, I was just checking, and I've been all over the damn place.
yep, those Arizona/Utah cachers move 'em around.
Me2's & ares moved around even more.

King Boreas grabbed it:
damn thieves
Ian, what do you mean, "Damn Thieves"?
Somebody stole the cache, and two travel bugs that were in it.
You think when that happens, some goofball just stumbles upon it, and not knowing what it is, keeps it, thinking "Look at the cool treasure I found"?
So, is Spike missing now also?
would be cool to find an ammo box full of trinkets..stuffed inside a tree...
I bet the guy that found it an phalen this winter crapped his pants when he found it...
might have had a big sticker...that would say "you found it"

Spike 3.0 is another rusty railroad spike.
Man, that sucks!
You must spend a lot of time & money on this stuff.
More time than money

My Aunt has a "cabin" up there on Warner lake.
nice......Considering we my inlaws have a cabin up there....we don't go that often...
We don't go nearly as much as we used to or would like to.
We only went up once last year, and twice this year.
Just too much going on all the time.
