if the baby holds off long enough for me to finish it
as soon as you think something like that, you're screwed.
I like the way you think Ian... sooner sounds good to me. =)
Sounds like a plan Tommy will love it....he is shy though so she is going to have to make the first move:)
Oh great, Ali's shy too. I can see the sparks flying already from both of them clinging to our legs.
Won this thing on the midway, on Wednesday, when I went with my mom and her husband.... it was the game where they have the coke bottles, and you gotta throw the small red rings at them.....
2 tickets got you 7 rings... the guy made me a deal, 4 tix for 20 rings.. well... it only took me 17, and I won that thing.... it probably weighs 30 pounds, and I had to carry it on my back for the next 3 hours or so.... Im lucky I didnt win it first thing when we got there in the morning..... cause then I would have had to carry it around for 15 hours or so.
First day of school today, the bus came and picked up my girls and took them into the big bad world.
you live on the wrong side of the 196/197 boundary, frosti. or the right side, depending on how you look at it. ours don't go back until tuesday.
Yes, we're in 197, land of expensive all day kindergarten. :-(
So who's the guy next to the big ass puppy anyway? ;-)

That would be me.
No way! That guy isn't the clown that I know. He looks like some sort of sentimental doggie lover or something. The VJ that I know would have ripped that dogs head off and kicked it down Commonwealth Ave for all the other fair goers to see.
It's like batman I tells ya.Â
By day he's a mild manner puppy hugger... but by night he becomes...

Where's the hair??
WOW! That's VJ in the picture?
When was that taken?
Frosti, what school do your girls go to?
WOW! Congrats on winning one of my Dawgy friends VJ!! That's one big Dawg.
I like the triple sun effect! If you could edit out the reflection of the camera and the fridge it would be really cool!
TMK, my girls go to Pilot Knob Elementary. Why?
I was curious. That's where I went to elementary school. Lots of memories from there. I grew up in the 197 school district.
We're about a mile north of there. Seems like a nice school.
Well that certainly outperforms my digital camera ESD. Mine never did like low light situations, always gets blurry or noisy. It's been a great camera, but eventually I'll haveta upgrade.
It's been just a bit since I was there last. Who knows, maybe someone that I graduated school with is back there teaching. The school is easy to navigate. It'd be strange going back and seeing what it looks like. Btw, I grew up in Bayberry Place & Glen Pond Estates around there.
Oh yeah, I drive by there all the time!
WOW! That's VJ in the picture?
When was that taken?
Yeah VJ. Pilot Knob School is on Lone Oak Rd, just west of Pilot Knob Rd. Glen Pond Estates is right along PK Rd, between Lone Oak and Yankee Doodle. Bayberry is on Yankee Doodle, west of PK Rd. My old stomping ground growing up.
Frosti, you've got me wondering now if there's any record of me there at the school somewhere. I won a number of awards while I was there. Wonder if there are any teachers there I still know.
I've only been in the school once. My kids have Ms. Underdahl and Mrs. Krohn for kindergarten. Those are the only teachers I've met. They've only been there for 3 days, after all. :-)
Frosti, the school is really easy to navigate, unless they've really changed it since I was there. It's basically one big square. Gym and lunch room towards the rear of the school. The library in the middle of the school, accessible by some doors, or a number of the classrooms which open up into the library. I would think the girls are in the classes at the near left entrance of the school.
You are correct!
Hey, I used to have a Ms. Underdahl for one of my classes back in grade school. She was a lot of fun, that's how I remember her name still. I wonder if it's the same person?? Is she really old? She would have to be like in her 50's if it's the same one.
~Is she really old? She would have to be like in her 50's if its the same one~
LOL
JOE!
She could be in her 50s, though I would say early 50's if so. And she looks like a very active 50. If it's the same one, I actually thought she was kind of attractive.
Yeah, she was constantly "busy" with us... wasn't one of those teachers that just sat on her butt behind a desk barking instructions to us all hour. From what I remember I believe she had long, brown hair and was very attractive. Of course by now her hair could be gray or any color under the sun. LOL
If you get a chance take a pic of her for me. I'd love to see if it's the same person.
Sorry OT - Oops! I guess i'm showing MY age here. LOL What I meant was she wasn't one of these "spring chickens" just out of college type teachers, this one's been around the block a number of times and even crossed the road a time or two. LOL

I was just teasing, after all, I'm the one who calls herself Oldtimer! :)
Saw this in an exhibit at the State Fair, in the Creative Arts building and thought I'd share it with everybody.

And in the same case I saw this display of Winter Carnival Buttons. Not exactly a complete set, but they won 3rd place? Kinda odd....

I saw those. I also saw an ice castle built out of Lego's.
Ahh yeah, forgot to snap a picture of that one. Doh!
Scribe wanted to steal the stained glass one.
The Lego castle reminded me of one someone in here had made for a contest for their church youth group.
hahaha that was me
You should have entered yours. ;)
Probably woulda beaten all those entries, well, maybe not the stained glass, but 2nd place wouldn't have been bad.
