Wait a minute. If you are yearning for learning?? What is there to learn at Conway???
I went to Conway and Gillette. They are both solid spots. When I was there (between 1:30 and 4) there were twice as many people at Conway. Conway lacks the
9-5-4 as everyone is saying and the peak is actually 2 peaks, although you can position yourself to see only one. At Gillete there is a translucent peak problem. The
Maintenance building at 995 Wheelock Pkwy has something that looks like coke bottle glass blocks near the top. Are they lit up at night...does anyone know?
Also Wheelock Parkway. Wheelock was the founder of the PP. Nice connection. I like them both, leaning slightly toward Gillete. Tonight's clue should be the
Just got back from Conway, we can't figure out clue #7--from this a name will appear..... Gillette is not listed as a St. Paul park in the treasure hunters guide.
People need to learn to figure the clues out for themselves and quit asking questions as to why a certain park. This treasure hunt is being ruined by stupid people
posting mind scattering information. If you want to find the treasure get off the computer and get in the park and dig. Use your mind!
Wow! its at conway? I just spent an afternoon at rice park. Thought the civic center was the thing round and white and streched quite tight. We didn't find much
there. I thought the famous man was washington st. and that the clue said tome because of the library
Could I be right?

Clue #4 for Conway would just mean it's in a pak its never been in before. Iconoclast has been over analyzed in my opinion...you'll have to break the round white
stretched thing to bet the biscut. Clue # 7 for conway: tress=wood, in a line=row...so from this a name: Woodrow Wilson, then lead you to a sign...Wilson street
which borders the park.
#7 fits better at Gillette though. Forest Street and Clear...the clue is quite clear.
Is Gillette a new park? I thought it was part of Phalen, didn't realize it had it's own name. Was the meddallion hidden around there in the past?

Trees don't form lines in forests and they never actually blurt out the name of a street until the last clue so forest is wrong and clear is as much a red herring as "well in

I didn't say nothing about digging, but why complain about the people that are in here if you are in here youself! To tell you the truth I could care less about how
a street is a line forest street a line of trees...AW you might be right it's a stretch, but then again, how CLEAR is Woodrow Wilson. Clever, yes, clear no.

DAWG - library on the park grounds
Hempdawg - there is a library connected to the park
We were digging at Conway & met the finder of 1969; great man.
I can't belive you all think its conway It's not. I just came from gelette and their is about 100 people out there. So good luck at conway.
Davis - did the previous finder have and insight?
Davis, did you see the guy with the puppy? I should say the "medallion sniffing dog" : )

Where is gelette??? Never heard of it.

Bunny- those are 100 people who are wrong. There are always 100 or so people who are wrong. Let's not be one of them hey!
Bunny - What is the 9-5-4 at Gilette?
Where is Gelette??
Gelette is across from Phalen Lake on the east side.
WHAT MAKES YOU THINK GILLETTE
Bunny- why do you think Gelette is it?? What does the 9-5-4 deal with??
The 954 is the number of a house on Forest & Clear ST. right across from the park. So what do you all think.
FOREST COULD BE YOUR LINE OF TREES
What is the Gillette Park? How is it spelled?
(Deleted item originally posted by bunnybutt on 04:36pm Jan 31, 1999 CST)
L
Gillette that is how it is spelled I spelled it wrong the first time
What is the glowing translucent peak at Gillette?

decider. I hope anyway.
MEDALLIONSTALLION, OR WHATEVER, RIGHT ON! LET'S JUST BE ICONOCLAST'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Conway was an Iconoclast, just ask old George, he held the same office that the line of trees did.
NO that dose not light up at night. That is the part of the clue I dont understand yet.
How will clue #4 fit with conway?
Did you all see KISS' performance at the Super Bowl??? Was pretty good!!
OK...back to medallion life now ;-)
Just got back from Conway, we can't figure out clue #7--from this a name will appear..... Gillette is not listed as a St. Paul park in the treasure hunters guide.
when are you going out there???

What is Conway's phone number?
hey medallionhound what park are you thinking now?

CamoMan, if you are so mad that we're on here, why are you on here? Why aren't you out digging for yourself!
In Clue Number 7, I can get "Edgecombe," Woodrow," and Theresa. I'm having a more difficult time with trying to see "Cedar."
Kiss can KISS my ASS. If that's what our society has come to, God help us. Anybody who idolizes them needs to get a freaking life.

Don't think it can be at Rice Park cuz of the ice sculptures. Allie Go, what's valuable about Edgecumbe, Woodrow or Theresa? Stumped ...
I think Rice park is it because the glowing peak is the 1rst nat'l bank sign

Here's the answer to clue #6. A man of fame with a useful name-- Henry Hudson. After all, what treasure hunter would be without a Hudson Guide?
SHARON,YOU STILL THERE?
Trees don't form lines in forests and they never actually blurt out the name of a street until the last clue so forest is wrong and clear is as much a red herring as "well in
the new".
My crue digs more than any Crazy Creature.
What if "numbers keep score" really meant that the first two digits of an address (and adorn the front door) are 20 and the address you're looking for is 2095 with a
4 (2094?) around somewhere?
I didn't say nothing about digging, but why complain about the people that are in here if you are in here youself! To tell you the truth I could care less about how
much you dig.
"They don't do it that way" I thought we were supposed to be iconoclasts and break with tradition
2 patty's...I'm not really sure what they mean yet.
the address at Conway is 2090.
a street is a line forest street a line of trees...AW you might be right it's a stretch, but then again, how CLEAR is Woodrow Wilson. Clever, yes, clear no.

But, if in becoming an iconoclast you break all the rules, there will be no order whatsoever. So you have to be judicious with your iconoclasm.
