It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Spencer Dorn
anyone ask me a question, then i get to ask you one??????
Think first of trees in a line. Think WOOD ROW. Ok, I've thought Woodrow first (the first name). From this, a name will appear. The only Woodrow most people
know is Wilson, and so the same Wilson appears. I don't think its a stretch. I think its following the clue precisely.
My problem with Clue #3 isn't that its too easy, its that its too precise. But if its not an address, what is with "and adorn the front door"? I still think maybe "score" is
the tricky part referring to 20 instead of a sports score.
A tome, loosely defined (as all puzzle makers do) could refer to any book. When you're trying to be cryptic, yet make everything rhyme, diction isn't your foremost
My last guess about the 9,5,4 was that "Numbers keep score and adorn the front door" may be a cryptic way of referring to the 2000 block of something. A 9 and a
5 might mean 2095 and somewhere a four might mean 2094 which would be across the street on the park side, where you would have to estimate exactly where the
four might be. The only problem with this theory is I already dug up that part to no avail (well, I didn't completely dig it up) and it still seems strange that they would
try, however sneakily, to give us an exact address in the third clue.
A score is 20, as in "Four score and seven years ago..." So maybe they're not talking about sports. Maybe they were talking about the number 20, or possibly in this
case, 2000 as 2-0 would be the first two digits of all the houses on that block.
Its possible it could have been found. In a small park I would think it wouldn't take too long to do so. But you can find out for sure by calling (651) 228-5464.
Allison you are so smart. We never would have thought of the four score thing and we think we're so smart! We were at Conway for awhile and people were
digging by the ball fields. Went to HP and there was NO ONE.
I liked the state fairgounds for awhile. until i got kicked off. it is the only place that the 9-5-4 thing fits perfectly. In adventure park at the fair, you can stand where
you can see the huge channel 9 sign and the huge channel 5 sign and the channel four sign is just slightly over a hill. Perfect. Many of the other clues work well too,
but I was assured by a most friendly security guard that the park was off limits....

Q:
Hey spencer!
watz up!!!!!!!
Alright Spencer, is Henry Hudson the man they are referring to in Clue #6?
anyone a question please!!!!!!!!!
I think Allison has a good point about the Woodrow and Wilson
no, but first refer to the park, k!!
Just got back from Conway- Noticed address 4-5-9 near fields
it is not an address people, thats to easy!
Wrong answer. Henry Hudson is the famous man with a useful name (Hudson Guide). Old Hudson Rd. is one block south of Conway.
Hey, a tome is a scholarly book, can't be a hudson's guide. But Hudson Road runs along the freeway by 3M.
it is not an address people, thats to easy!
Crazy you are all that. You got nothing!
I just got back from Conway, and I couldn't find it. I need to warm up.

Whats 9,5 and 4 mean then???
A tome, loosely defined (as all puzzle makers do) could refer to any book. When you're trying to be cryptic, yet make everything rhyme, diction isn't your foremost
concern.
Who ever said I had anything???
And plus if I don't know nothing, why did I find it in 1990 in Como Park? Have you ever found it?
When does the next clue come out
What do you mean Wonderland, 20 not being a sports score? We don't get your drift. Maybe we should ask the mad hatter. ha ha ha
HEY SPENCER, DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKN'?

hI aLISON, i LIKE YOUR STYLE, YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Has it been found yet? I heard it was.
Is there anything to deal with Woodrow Wilson.
Its possible it could have been found. In a small park I would think it wouldn't take too long to do so. But you can find out for sure by calling (651) 228-5464.
Otherwise the next clue comes out at 11:30

Well, if it hasn't been found, I guess I need to go try and get it so good luck everyone.
Where is woodrow wilson school???
The medallion has NOT been found!! I just checked. It's 6:07 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Conway is almost totally dug up... If it is at Conway, it should be found soon.
