The f*gger did Lair:

I thought that mighta been from lair... Back a while ago there was talk of getting a big group together to go do that one, but I'm not sure if that'll happen before spring now, I gather that one's not a good one to attempt in the winter.
If there is snow on the ground or its muddy....
you will need a snowmobile or an atv...
Do not go to "the leir" if its WET at all with just a car or truck...you will be sorry.

COMO FALLS is located in HOKAH, MN. What a sweet little park!!!
I had a few more photos listed in the Weatherbug today. One of them is the same shot that 3M took of the St. Croix by Stillwater. They're under the Seasons>Fall 2004 - West and the Storms - Thunderstorms photo albums. I submitted a bunch and am kinda surprised that they picked 5 of them. Last time they only picked one and those were much better shots. Although the one they did pick made it to the Photo Hall Of Fame.
::head swells::
All of you should submit your shots to Weatherbug for all to see. KC's balloon shot and 3M's Split Tree shots are sure to make it.
For those of you who don't have it yet. http://www.weatherbug.com/
These are linked photos and will go away later this week so don't worry if you see an X later on

Nicely done CM, you should be on weatherbug's payroll for all of the pictures you've supplied them

Hey ESD, Do you have a site that you contribute your artwork too other than our avatar room?
That frog one...
It's just creepy.

Or stick your hand up it's but ;)
Not yet I am looking at some but they want like $600 to put your work up.
check out the minneapolis institute of art, esd. i know they do a lot of showcasing local artists. don't know if there's any fees involved in displaying it though.

Cograts CM! I'm glad to hear they like your photo's! I think you take exelent photos! Much better than mine!
KC's balloon shot and 3M's Split Tree shots are sure to make it.
I didn't even think anyone liked that shot. I've never seen the weather bug thing, so I will check it out. I still think your pictures are much better than the crap I shoot.
made it to the Photo Hall Of Fame. ::head swells::

thanks guys! I'll have to try and post it on weatherbug and see how it's received.
BTW how does one do that anyway? CM?
Within Weatherbug, Click on 'Your Photos' on the left then click 'Click To Send Your Photos'. It'll pull up an info screen. Just browse your shots and hit 'upload'. They determine if and where they go so don't worry about what album to admit them towards.Â
Incidentally, there have been well over 50 million Weatherbug downloads so your pictures will have a pretty big audience. Plus it's free.

Since Kris turned 22 this year, his junior bowling career ended on August 1st. During his last three years, he won over $8000.00 in scholarships, meaning this year at college is free.
Today he turned pro, meaning if he wins, it's cash in the hand. He entered the Amateur Bowler's Tournament at Saxon Lanes in Little Canada, Minnesota. This has been a great house for him in the past, and today was no exception:
262, 217, 234, 246 plus 52 handicap = 1011 (+211)
Later tonight we find out if he makes the cut and returns tomorrow. I think he has a great shot at being high qualifier. Our fingers are crossed.
Awesome! Good luck Kris!!!
Took a ride on an old bus in downtown St Paul today. They were using it as a shuttle bus for the HAMfest.
Oh and I ran into Santa Dave (or is it Downtown Dave? I'm not sure what nick he goes by, older fellow with a white beard, I'm assuming Santa Dave). He said to say hi.

I should have LL come do our kitchen floor.
And have her hubby bake us a cake.
:-)
Just not in the same day again!
Very nice LL - I love those before and after shots.
that was some delicious cake. just disappointed that i followed the manners mom always taught me and only took one piece of it.
:: wonders how much linoleum dust made the special ingredients list of the cake. lol ::
Did you shove the cake in TC's face?
I'm sorry I missed your big day. Problems on the home front.
That was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted! Thanks again for that amazing gift LL and NT!
Hey JT - Do you own a hybrid?

hehe. i had better things to do than sleep under the bed or in the garage. :)
hey, tc and i were out on the minneapolis river front yesterday. i've got a great pic of a tree from there that was right out by the hennepin avenue bridge. as soon as i get it out of the camera and onto the laptop, methinks i'm gonna have to post it
Hey JT - Do you own a hybrid?
Nope. Not me.
LL - I like the new floor!! Good Job!
Your welcome TC :)
Thanks Digger :) hopefully it will help the sale go a little faster.
When do you list your house?
When do you list your house?
It was just listed on friday, we had 2 showings over the weekend and there was supposed to be one more but she cancelled cuz she wasn't feeling well so I suppose she will reschedule this weekend. I still need to fix the walls in the kitchen and paint them, and same with the hallway, and I wan't to find some more sticky-back tile for the room in the basement, then we can call that a family room :)
Good luck with the sale, LL. Hope it goes fast and smoothly for youz.

Thanks Terry, I think it's gonna be a tough sell though, there is so much wrong with this house that I think we are going to have a hard time. The inspector said that the plumbing and electrical are both below code, and then theres the roof. When we bought the house, the VA did the inspection, I don't think the guy even came in the house, within a couple months of buying it NSP came out and red tagged our furnace, he said the only reason we were still alive is because the windows were so bad that they let in enough air. everytime I try to fix something it's a huge deal cuz the old owner half-assed EVERYTHING!
I hear ya. When we got our furnace inspected for the sale, they red tagged us. So we had to spend $5000 to put in a new furnace. Wish we had done that when we moved in so at least we could have gotten some benefits out of it.
My daughters got a new water heater with their new house for the same reason. The old one was tagged during an inspection by the city.
