It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

I like alot of parks, but there is one major thing bugging me. Why would they say not a golf course in the first clue. I think they were just pointing out it wouldn't be
IN the golf course itself. obviously it wouldn't be because that's distroying property. IN the 3rd clue it says a 9 and a 5 and somewhere a four. The way it is writen
"somewhere a four" makes me believe it's not connected to the 9 and 5. plus the "shout" part. that's what u do, shout four!!! thoughts?
Thanks Terry V. I tried your suggestion, but still have to log in, not to worry about it now...there is treasure to be found....will figure it out at a latter date. I'm back to
my maps, clues and any other resources that will help!
That could be an interesting story. What if someone killed someone in a park and buried the body in the snow. But it just so happened that the medallion was hidden
Palace is WAY west of Snelling--don't try to take Snelling to get there. It's way down by the brewery. Take Randolph almost all the way down and turn north on
Bat street, and it's a block or two up. What makes you all think it's there, anyway? Don't worry, I won't beat you to it. I'm too exhausted even to stay up for the next
I have a few ideas of where it is hidden at Conway. I think it is about halfway down Conway St., Near the tennis courts, but not to close to the action (sledding
hill)-as in clue #2 I still don't get the 9-5-4 thing anyone know?
I've decided (for myself) that the first clue says its in a park. Its not on a golf course. Said park may or may not have a golf course but because we know we're going
to keep you confused for as long as possible, we just don't want you digging up any golf courses anywhere.
Jeloba, what is the internet address to the site that anagrams words for you...I could play around there for a while and maybe come up with a new Idea or two.
Sorry, I was trying to type with one hand and misspelled the street by Palace. It's BAY Street. Turn on Bay Street from Randolph--there's no light, so you have to
Technically, Palace is south of 35-E and east of Snelling. (Are we confusing you yet?) It is bordered by Jefferson and Palace, and Bay and View Ave.'s. It is just
I don't know when the clues are written but I suspect the evil master probably does their scouting during the summer, pretending to be just another park visitor
enjoying the scenery. I can picture them picking their spot, writing down all the nearby landmarks, and then rushing off to their secret laboratory where they labor for
months trying to twist their clues into rhyme. There they dwell until the first snow when they emerge from their sanctuary on a hit and run mission to place the
medallion disguised in whatever piece of garbage was at hand. Of course this is just an artist's rendering and is in no way based on actual knowledge.
An anagram of 'glowing translucent' is 'lunar clowns getting'. Add 'peek' (peak), and you get "Lunar clowns getting peek", which means THE MEDALLION CAN
Human24, sounds like the best thought yet here...and it is a blue moon...and we if stuff enough of us in VW to go hunt...while wearing big shoes...gotta go, my nose
human24, so glad you are not overanalyzing the clues. I think I saw some lunar clowns at Newell last night about 2:30 a.m. and 5 malt liqours into a 94pak

I thought of Linwood for a line of wood also (just another case of great minds thinking alike, wouldn't ya say?).
jeloba--they haven't had all the letters yet, so it's hard to tell. Maybe try again after a few more clues
What if 'peak' means 'peek'?
dug at the capital all night i have good leads and strong feelings i am going again tonight
That could be an interesting story. What if someone killed someone in a park and buried the body in the snow. But it just so happened that the medallion was hidden
in that very same park...

Sorry, I was trying to type with one hand and misspelled the street by Palace. It's BAY Street. Turn on Bay Street from Randolph--there's no light, so you have to
watch for it.

so, has anyone called that line to see if it's been found yet?
Granda HB, Just dropped by, what's the whole URL for Jeloba?
You-re right, it is east of Snelling. I told you I was tired!
Technically, Palace is south of 35-E and east of Snelling. (Are we confusing you yet?) It is bordered by Jefferson and Palace, and Bay and View Ave.'s. It is just
down (literally) from Linwood.
Well, I think that I'm done for the night! GOOD LUCK to all who go out looking tonight!! I'll talk to ya tomorrow if it hasn't been found yet:):)
Freshman, if somebody found it, it would be the biggest strike of luck in PP history. vbg.

fell off. lol.
human24, so glad you are not overanalyzing the clues. I think I saw some lunar clowns at Newell last night about 2:30 a.m. and 5 malt liqours into a 94pak
