Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- An Associated Press poll that measured public opinion on the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision and potential nominees to the high court contains a key error that probably drastically changed the results.
"high court contains a key error that probably drastically changed the results."
<Rank Speculation Alert>
""Roe v. Wade allows absolutely no limits on reasons for abortion until nearly six months into pregnancy," explains National Right to Life legislative director Douglas Johnson. "
How would that detail change the results? Because of "reasons?" What relevance does that have?
"It is way past time for the news media to stop distorting the real terms of Roe v. Wade," Johnson said."
Why is it so hard for them to accept the results? It doesn't change anything. It's not stopping them from doing whatever they do to end abortions.
Conducted by Ipsos-Public Affairs, the poll qualified the question by first telling respondentsthat the "1973 Supreme Court ruling called Roe v. Wade made abortion in the first three months of pregnancy legal."
It could lead some people to believe that abortion is only allowed in the first trimester, which is inaccurate. The poll, of course, will be used as a politcal tool for proabortionists although it isn't accurate.
I thought I answered them all. What point did I miss?

It does. The results will be used by the proabortionsits.  It's not stopping them from doing whatever they do to end abortions. Pose the survey question they way you think it should have been asked.
I am not a pollster. But the poll could have eliminated the following reference:
"1973 Supreme Court ruling called Roe v. Wade made abortion in the first three months of pregnancy legal." I went back and looked briefly at both articles but couldn't find the complete information given to those taking the poll.
If they do it will be the right constitutional decision.ÂÂ
so, in a nutshell, bodine is saying that the SC shouldn't legislate from the bench... unless they legislate laws he wants in order to force people to live the way he wants them to.
Dr Bennet said it had been assumed foetuses experienced pain because of evidence that they withdrew limbs from touch, and because stress hormones rise in response to potentially painful experiences.
But these were automatic reflexes- like responses to stimuli such as their mothers' voices. To experience pain required awareness and therefore consciousness.
The only way to address this issue, is for states to make laws about the right to have or not to have an Abortion, Â free from the Central Government and the Suprme Court.
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Frances Kissling, the president of Catholics for a Free Choice, an organization of pro-abortion "Catholics," is causing a furor within the abortion advocacy ranks with an essay calling for them to compromise their hardcore message.
Kissling's wide-ranging essay tops 7,000 words and admonishes abortion advocates to reevaluate they way they present their views.
She calls on abortion proponents to rethink "the value of the fetus" to reach middle of the road voters more likely to support a pro-life candidate than someone like John Kerry who takes an extreme position in favor of abortion.
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- In the wake of another defeat of a pro-abortion presidential candidate to a pro-life Republican, pro-life Democrats say their party must reform its hardcore position in favor of abortion and learn to speak to voters in the South and Midwest who it has turned off in the process.
Writing in an op-ed column in National Review, Democrats for Life director Kristin Day says it should come as no shock that Kerry failed to attract pro-life Democrat voters.
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A second lawsuit has been filed to challenge the constitutionality of a provision included in a budget bill signed by President Bush that prohibits agencies that receive federal dollars from discriminating against hospitals, medical professionals or health insurers who do not want to perform or pay for abortions.
Sacramento, CA (LifeNews.com) -- Responding to efforts around the state to protect parents' rights, California's top attorney has determined that schools are not required to tell parents when a student leaves school to obtain "confidential medical services," such as an abortion.
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Former presidential candidate John Kerry surprised key Democratic Party activists in a meeting shortly after Thanksgiving where he said the party needs to do more to moderate its image on abortion and reach out to pro-life voters.
That comment surprised and shocked many in the room, according to a new Newsweek report.
Bozeman, MT (LifeNews.com) -- A Montana state lawmaker has become a victim of harassment after proposing legislation that would issue death certificates for unborn children who die as a result of abortions.Â
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Planned Parenthood has released its annual report for 2003-2004.
The information reveals that the nation's largest abortion business performed more abortions at fewer abortion facilities during the last year. The pro-abortion group also took in fewer private donations and more money from the government.
Otherwise, why do we rejoice over ultrasound images of the unborn? Why do we give them names? Why do we pray for their health and happiness? Why are we so quick to go from calling them fetuses to babies?Â
Don't know what it was like at the beginning, but I think it's changed a lot for the worse in the time I've been following it, albiet not that closely.

Isn't that the name of the new Stones CD?
New reality series on Fox?
After 40 years, sin may have surrendered to the Stones.

Maybe 59 percent are saying they're tired of the culture war.
Maybe they're starting to believe the lie that it's just a medical procedure.
Move along.

Take your time.
no one is "proabortion" anymore than anyone is "proamputation"

When
will GDubbya start his
Agressive Campaign
to change Roe vs. Wade...in favor of outlawing Abortion alltogether, as you favor...?
Since he isn't advocating a constitutional amendment it will happen if and when he nominates judges to the Supreme Court.
The SC is not about to change that decision.
They almost did 12 years ago. see

You need to keep up. And with a few changes on the court they still might. If they do it will be the right constitutional decision.Â

I see our friend Jethro is just as clueless as ever
Why does the State issue BIRTH CERTIFICATES and not conception certificates? Why do people celebrate BIRTHdays and not conceptiondays?
[Edited by molegrass on Dec 21, 2004 at 12:56pm.]
The main reason is infant mortality.
I don't think that's the main reason.

somehow methinks that the miscarriage rate is higher than the infant mortality rate these days.
I should have said miscarriage.
Strange, I automatically saw it as an infant in the womb.
Why does the State issue BIRTH CERTIFICATES and not conception certificates?
