As the hunt nears and I looked up at Tims C om O line,  I go into a trance like state -I am having a nightmare I think...I am reminded of that new commercial for a credit card- Â
The nightmare goes like this:
I called the guy up (you know the one-he played JOEsombody in a movie once) and I asked him
"where will the medallion be hidden in January"? ...he responded with ...
Com-NO !
actually I really don't either- I have a brotherinlaw who lives 6 blocks from Hamline and Arlington- and we know so much about Como now that I would hope we would have it pinned sooner than usual
well if I'm thinkin convenience, I'd like it to be either at Newell, Phalen, or Battle Creek (Newell would be best though, it's just a short drive from work).
And as far as finding it at Co-No the first week - It'll never happen KC. I refuse to look out there until it's forced down my throat like when they moved it from Harriet.
I was thinking on bringing one of those wire fold-outs that could support a trash bag during the late clues for this upcoming hunt but then I thought some idiot would tear it apart looking for the coin. And you're right with that top pix representing 2am last year. Where on g.com is that pix located?

I'm just pissed now that I have to work during the hunt. I was planning on 24/7! I even had my wife plan her surgery early so I'd be available. Even had my 'vacation" pre approved at work, but now wont have enough vacation to cover it. They award it to us the 1st of the year (176 hours) but we "earn" only 14 hours vac and 8 hrs birthday holiday for jan. Maybe I can squeeze in the last week with my pto.
I think ittiz the Coolerest thing in the world that so many people do their damndest to take time off work/school/life for The Hunt. That is the neatest, Coolerest phenomena!!!! People not involved in our religion/passion just don't get it.Â
yea I know they don't at all! Every years for the last 4 I've had to remind my boss to go online and print me the clue at work when it's posted. He never remembers even when I ask everyday!
I bet it is going to be outside of St. Paul...but then again I've been saying that for the last three years. Or maybe it'll be inside St. Paul, but not in a park, on some other form of public property.
geez, there's so much stuff to check out, I've been gone so long!!! So the movie's coming out, eh? Well, I'm not in it, so I'm boycotting it. Just kidding, I'll probably go. Then I'll kick Trent in the shins.
we have our own line of clothing! what's up with that?!?! why didn't anyone tell me....here I was going to be all cool and offer a new window cling design at the Pre-Dig, now I look lame.
well I'll need more than one rally cry to do it, but thanks for the enthusiasm. :) and I'll need to get me one of them hoodies to sport at the pre-dig. sweet.
Hey Green!

I do love Jake and I'm proud to declare so.
He smells like beef...
...and cheese.
Wow every one is starting to come around=)
I got that itch to go hang out in the pit at phalen about 2 am this morning... just for the sensation...
Broken shovels, empty pop bottles, lost mittens, used batteries, and more nasty stuff is under the snow:
Last year, a few hundred pounds of garbage were hauled out by:
I'm sure they will return with many others, if we are allowed to organize this event. Potluck lunch will be available. Bring something to share.

thanks for the memory
I didn't hate that night- just was something not very many people can ever in life say they have experienced.
every time I see those photos ---there is absolutely NO WAY that coin was up, out and over the hill. ---just griping again :)

an unapproved event page
They're having trouble approving a combined coolercrew/geocaching event, although it was approved the past two years.

big g, you are in the movie, aren't you?
I know they atleast have some footage of you, so you can't be sure they didnt use it.
Does anyone know when the buttons need to be registered by? I'm going to be in Florida until the 14th warming up before the hunt.
I believe they need to be postmarked before the 1st clue is out.
holy crap...I haven't open up two window's on pf in ages...where did all those posts come from....
$10 says it'll be in good ol' Mounds Park and ESD'll get it
I'll take that bet since I've already been looking there today and there was no sign of ESD (or the medallion damn it)Â
Although there was a small tent with his stuff in it perched on the bluff. :-)
well I'll need more than one rally cry to do it,
Clingys Clingys Clingys
I sure have been quoting you today huh Big G? It's not on purpose
Almost time!!!!!
Yo, homies.
Button Registration....oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me! Not sure what the deadline is but the sooner the better.
I'm all for clingys. You can't be too clingy, as I always say...
