Green you've met Wanda aka Dersky for the past two years at the rehash and PDG as well as PP and parks. 

She wears camo head to toe with and orange hat, we are quite often in the front of the line with John.   She is an archeologist and digs in grids.

THAT'S WHAT I'M GONNA BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yup.  Finally figured out what I'm gonna be when I grow up.  I figure if the Leakeys can hang out in Africa in their 60s, I can while away my dotage in Italy!!!!!!!

Figure I may as well skulk around legally, you know?  Eventually I'm gonna get caught if I don't legalize myself!  Thass why I've gone bock to school!  I'll never use the damn degree - think I'll be way past my prime by the time I've even gotten my BA and you can't make any real bucks unless you've got a PhD...  But...  At least I'll have the knowledge that I crave.

I think I still have some pix from AW's BC hunt where we met up.  I'll see if I can dig those up again.  I remember it being on St. Pattys Day because it was my birthday.  Does that sound right?  It was spring time anyway.

I remember asking you if you were a daycare provider because of all the kids, then you corrected me and reminded me of you screen name.  My bad  :-|

Hey KT - I feel your anger with the rent-a-nurse BS stuff that's going on with your dad.  It just pisses me off.  But I'm glad you can see past the asshole who doesn't know how to care for someone and see the need for a place like that in Ely. My Gramps went there back in the 80's and it was a decent place.  But as with anything, some dipshit can screw it for everyone.  Best of luck to you through this emotional time.

OT! How the heck are you!! It's been a long time. I think the last time I spoke with you is when you dropped off the little wagon for the kids last summer. We have used that a lot and I love it. The kids will probably be too big for it next summer. Now they can climb out of it. LOL

I think you're right!  I'm glad they enjoyed the wagon.  I was just talking about the night I picked up Lilman and we met you at HI!  Remember we got stopped by a train on Plato?  I thought Lil was going to jump out of the car and run the rest of the way!  And we got there and there you sat, all by yourself in the dark on the playground.  Are we crazy or what??

Outta, I think its a good idea to come in here and play around with this place before the hunt.  It was confusing to me at first too, but now it's old hat.  And during the hunt there will only be a couple of threads you'll be using anyway.

Lilman was a hoot. What a guy.

Hey Outta, OT and anyone else finding it a bit difficult to navigate through these PeoplesForum threads. Here's what I do that makes it real easy to pick up where you left off when coming back here later.

Open the thread where you want to be part of the discussion.  Such as this 'Shoot the breeze with the Cooler Crew' thread that you're in right now.  At the bottom of the thread there are Your Member Tools options listed (Check Messages, Subscribe, Message Center, Mark As Read....)

Click on 'Subscribe'.  This will bring up a Set Subscription screen.  Only check the box that next to 'Check Messages'.  Than click OK

Next time you come into the pf, you can simply hit the 'Check Messages' link under Your Member Tools or towards the top left of the screen to quickly go to whatever thread you subscribed to earlier.  You can subscribe to as many threads as you want.  But to keep it simple as you start, you might want to just subscribe to this thread and the '2005 Treasure Hunt' thread.  That's how many of us get around in here without "chasing the red flags" which takes up quite a bit of time especially when there's heavy traffic.
