I've always liked your building OTS. There should be more on that side of the river. I was always partial to the IDS type of glass and steel tower. Especially when they reflect something nice like yours with the river and downtown.
OTS - If you want to us the picture of myself, me2 and CM from the picture post thread (#1381) for my picture on the cooler times site, that one would work.
That was funny last year when that guy "got everyones attention" and announced the time and the fact that we were the "hardcore" hunters!
I'm glad you appreciated that. I try and do that every year if there's more than 50 people still digging after 3AM - It kinda gives everybody a second wind. Including myself. (not to mention that the Snapps is kicking in around that time)
That was you?? I didn't actually meet you untill after that happened and I had no idea that was you! WOW! That was the 1st night I met you in person(or morning)
Yeah it was me but I thought I met you earlier than that. Damn was that a late night. It didn't really feel like it since there was a pretty smooth transition between the night crew and the morning crew. There always seemed to be stuff going on. That was the same night that someone stole my rake from KC0GRN. He was cool and replaced it but I still can't get over how heathenistic people are towards the end of the hunt.
I heard Kid Rock on the way to work today and it made me think of that night when he yells "Jump in the pit and try to love someone". I always have to scream right along with him during that part.
More then an evening... I know we were all in that pit at least from the time the dancing ladies clue came out.....How many times did you walk over that spot on your way into that pit?
I was on the ridge of the pit on the 3rd clue. I think anyway, it was the evening it was really cold out, tuesday perhaps? Saw a flannel shirt in the woods that freaked me out.
I remember being so cold I was gonna DIE!!!!!! I couldnt warm up for nothing to just think straight! I don't even recall when I left- sometime after 2 am forsure.
we all stood at the top of that bowl and just couldnt comprehend how someone didnt say they found it- the thoughts of someone taking it home and sleeping on it were just horendus thoughts.

IÂ got an idea for a mock hunt next year all the clues would be Illustrations.
Exactly what I was getting at. I think it'll proove much harder than we think. Way too many interpretations to draw on. Count me in ESD.

haha, yeah that night was rather insane. More insane that I had to work in the morning, only to hear someone picked it up on the ridge.
