It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

St Paul Parks & Recreation consider Conway a park.
Hey Brian, you seem like you are just acheing to tell us what this other translucent peak is? So the quarry could just refer to the baseball diamond? Or maybe the
translucent peak? This is just my second year at all this stuff, so I'm still trying to figure out how these people write this stuff!
tori... it goes like this... 1 (not the first) clue tells what its in... the first few clues tell broad features of the parks... then they get narrower by finding
street, landmark, park names from the clues somehow.. then the last 2 basically drag you to the park with a shovel...
Jackie, I would love too. I will teach them about the seven deadly sins. GREED!! :) The love of money brings out the evil in all of us. If I found it I would give it to
some little boy or girl to bring to their parent(s). The shock on their(parents) face would be worth 10,000 to me :)

if anyone wants to go to Jason's house and dig---just tell him the Common Man told you to stop on by

Barton you have had some pretty good theories what do you think?? Since Brian won't tell us!!
BRIAN I'LL GIVE YOU $10,000 IF YOU TELL ME WHAT THE PEAKS ARE!!!!??????
anyone made up their minds if they wanna go dig with me?
Common - you can't make this stuff up!
Hey Tori - Do you want to see my translucent peak?
Like I said Common Man...if you could pick me up in Fridley, as long as you dont kidnap me...
I think Brian is just trying to lead us all on the wrong track.
Superstar--have you been hanging around with the Skipper or Flyer's guy?

I'll go back digging if someone can find me a substitute teacher for tomorrow, my class is a bunch of sweethearts!!!!!!!! Any takers?!?!?!
Superstar you need to get off this sight if your going to act like that, you are very rude!!
Superstar scares me!!!
MAYBE BRIAN IS THE JERK OFF WHO HAS THE MEDALLION AND IS WAITING TO TURN IT IN ON CLUE 11,OR 12!!!!!!!!!
translucent means permitting the passage of light...... clear, transparent = Webster Dictionary
LJ... my ideas still lead to highland cuz i havent been to conway... but that could change as soon as i set foot in conway
nate....couldnt that trans. peak be the sliding hill at HP, it is kinda lit up...and the red light on top of the h2o towers
let's hear some other ideas on diffrent parks, and the theories behind them
Hey Jackie--My sister is a substitute teacher, but she is sleeping and probably doesn't want to work, what grade is your class?
I'm telling you- I live across the street from Conway, the clues need to get more specific, I think. That park is pretty wide open.
Barton read #14,689 that is what I think, I was out there today. And Brian have you actually been out to Conway??
I HAVE A THEORY ITS AT ONE OF THE PARKS IN ST. PAUL!!!!!!!
I was think translucent ... ice ... glowing ice ... ice palace ... peak ... peek at where the ice palace was *shrug*
I teach first grade, and I'm not bragging, but my kids are the best!
Thats what I was saying about HP
Good call Medallion Kid--lol
Tori - alright alright! I'll quit with all the Tom Foolery and Skulduggery.
Hey Common - if either of us finds it should we have a little get together at the BPT or Jake's Sports Cafe?

I'm thinking about Irvine, cause the water tower, capitol=translucent peak, and the 1st Bank Tower=red object
I'm thinking of taking my kids on a little field trip tomorrow...........................
I looked at the dime I found in my front lawn, and its says "Winter Carnival Medallion" Hmm...Odd...
IT HAS TO BE AT ONE OF THE PARKS IN ST. PAUL!! MAYBE THE PIONEER PRESS FORGOT TO HIDE THE MEDALLION!!!!!
you are funny Jackie that one made me laugh big time
LoL Jackie
SURE JASON!!!! YOUR STARTING TO ACT LIKE THE BRIAN GUY!!!!
Superstar- I was thinking maybe the Bunker Indoor golf center, it's definitely a top 5 track....
How much more specific do they have to be?? We've got 5,000 people digging for $10,000. Let's get there first.
would go into my ideas for highland... all clues work well there... but i have done so too many times... #8 and #9 work really well there too
Tori - your sister is lying right next to me and she told me she is a sex ed teacher. Boy, she really knows her stuff! Think she doesn't?
Oh no! Not that! I threw the dime away, it looked fake to me
I think your kids deserve a little excitement Jackie!
Hey- where's Brian S.? Ya' think maybe he realized he doesn't have a clue?!?!?!?!??!
Superstar- I've got my finger on the dump button
Commonman - you can't see the Capitol from there & there's no water tower anywhere. Is this a diversion?
Barton?...Whats the Red Object?
how about paisley park??? man of fame= prince? many a tome=CD's??? go dig up his estate!!!
Hey Common - Is Irvine one of your top five tracks? We might need a pair of Bushnell binoculars to find this thing!
And you think you're a superstar!!!!!
Do you even know where Paisley Park is?!?!?!? CHANHASSEN!
