I'm getting three of those gift boxes at Bath & Body and filling them with pretty smelling lotions, and gells, and sprays, and soaps and stuff for the ladies. Gosh, I love that store!
I havnt read this whole secret thread yet -but I did purchase 1 button (treasure hunters one) for him last week - filled out the card for him -thought it would be really cool if he won one of the bahama trips.
Why not just use TV's mission statement to explain who we are, and add a little at the end about what we're trying to do here. Cheer up our fellow hunter who is unable to participate this year.
Just wrote an email to northairemarket trying to get some donated wild rice soup mix. Ended it with a link to the coolercrew.com and the words honest I am not just some nut trying to get free soup...lolÂ
But, I guess ittiz different for employees. Meaning, if a 3M employee decides to give to a charitable org, that's different than an org soliciting and having to prove they're tax exempt, etc.
I could try my local Ace. I've a good relationship with the manager, going back about five, six years.
Duct tape, you say? Want me to try? If Diggin' can't get tape through 3M. And I could ask my girlfiend that still works there. She's always getting scrubbies and stuff... Some o'you guys know her, SNotV.
Hey Green... do you know anyone with a book store? Or someone that sells movies or DVD's? I am gonna call up my local blockbuster and see if they can donate any already viewed movies... magazines... anything like that.
SNotV's gonna get some Post-Its. Don't know what they'll do with Post-Its, but everbuddy loves them! She's also going to look into Nexcare Bandages. That's Mother Mining's version o'Bandaids.

There are 14 people in his section. His unit is a whole other issue...... When do you want to stop counting? Bravo Company probably has 140 plus people. We wanted to make sure there was enough for his section...... if he has extra to share even better.
I struck out with both Walmart and Best Buy. My understanding is that as big corportations they dont want to donate (small) amounts. MY thought is to hit up the mom and pop stores.Â
