I hear ya THX. I was fortunate enough to have the big big boss agree to increase my raise 8% just by asking. I went against what others thought would be suicide and found out that he's very appreciative of me and my work. It was nice.

Way to go CM! My work treats us like crap lately. They did finally give in and agree to let me off for the week and pay me during the hunt. It only took 6 "decisions" and the union threatening them with discrimanation to do it. Funny how the noisy wheel gets the grease.
